Does buying these qualify as purchases for a Target Circle bonus? Thinking of buying a Disney Gc and then 2 Nintendo $10 to get the spend threshold for my circle bonus.

Gift cards are excluded from Circle bonuses, unfortunately.

I wonder if third party GCs would work, and Target GCs would not.

As mentioned earlier, there are TWO Target Circle offers: 5% off Sitewide/entire purchase and the Reward.
The Reward Offer pictured below does work on Disney Gift Cards and other discounted gift cards, we have the DP's to back it up.

You are correct, neither offer will work on Target Gift Cards.

I usually don’t try for the offers because the spend is usually not worth it for me. This time I got spend $60 four times and get 20. I got 2 checks for buying some Nintendo Switch games with their buy 2 get 1 offer so I figured I’d go for it since I would’ve bought the switch games no matter what.
I was hoping to buy a $50 Disney gift card plus two $10 Nintendo eshop cards( which are on sale) to get to the $60 spend, but am unsure if eshop cards count. May just go to the store and buy a $50 Disney gc and $10 worth of stuff so I know for sure it qualifies.

I bought a DGC and an Apple GC online and it worked.

Target Circle Offers are mostly Targeted. You can check your Wallet and Just For You Circle Offers. Last time I had the Reward offer it was on a banner.



As you can see, I was not Targeted for the Reward this time.

I didn't get it. I had no special offers until yesterday until I received 4 different TV discounts. I bought two TVs at Christmas, so I guess Target thinks I collect TVs

The latest round of frustration begins on 10/29/21, keep scrolling to read more. And this wasn't even close to the offer some were able to snag today. Be prepared.

I fully expect to get cancelled, but I figured it only wastes a few minutes to try and see if it goes through. My order had neither delivered nor cancelled yet. Only a $3 hold on my card in the meantime.

Right. The issue some reported via the link I provided, was getting their money back. I don't think credit cards were affected but those using PayPal, debit cards or VV's might have to wait a bit longer to be credited.

If I still had a Sam's account, I would have done the deal as well.
You just never know!

Note, the Sam's offer was also posted on Slickdeals , so far no cancellations have been reported.

My pending charge from Sams was reversed on my credit card too. No big deal, I am not surprised.
