Updated Disney Gift Card Deals and More

A BB eDGC I purchased on Thurs just popped into my email. Geez. Then I get the notification that the card I purchased an hour ago was canceled by BB. :badpc:

I'll never understand BB's gift card policy. I was able to purchase 15 $100 Apple gift cards when they were running the free $15 BB GC a few months ago, and that was one at a time within a 1 or 2 day period (I did vary my browsers/incognito a bit). I've only tried for a few of the Disney GCs and all have arrived very quickly.

Not sure. Doubt it. But if you move the cash off it doesn’t matter at that point.
Thanks. The sale ends tonite and although I already bought 2 cards today I went ahead and just tried to buy one more...sure enough I did get the pop up message that I had reached my limit...I’m just happy that I was able to buy 4 GC between yesterday and today.😊

I'm curious and I realize we're all different and that I won't hold anyone liable for any mistakes, lol. Once you have a significant amount in gift cards for an upcoming trip, how do you allot them? Do you take one physical card with you for a certain amount and have the rest with the number in your phone so you can copy/paste for mobile ordering, etc? I have my food and souvenir budget (everything, really) in gift cards - so my hope is not to have to use a CC/Debit card for anything (I do have some questions about the fireworks party and CRT as I know those are pre-pay). I also think - I can't really go to the front desk and have them put a large gift card amount on my account, can I? I have to go and can pay for things at the end of the day that were charged via MB - is that right?

Best Buy Disney gift card deal is over but, $100 Uber card is on sale for $90. I’m in for one gotta be able to get to Disney from the airport to spend my Disney gift cards 😂

***Edit - Lyft is on sale for the same price $100 for $90
Can Uber GCs be used on UberEats as well? We always rent a car while at Disney but having restaurant delivery every once in a while is nice.

I take as few as possible gift cards with me, so I have a large amount on them. I also take a couple of blank cards and them in the room. In case I lose misplace the card with money and I need to quickly move the money off that card. I actually still carry my wallet and just pay with the physical card. For mobile ordering, and events I pay with that gift card (fireworks, MNSSHP). If I happen to charge anything to the room, I will check every 3 days and you can go to the front desk and settle up before it hit your cc on file. As far as prepaying on the room charges, they do not allow that. You can only use a GC to get the room balance back to zero.

Lyft and SWA $100 gift cards are also 10% off right now at BB😊
The only problem I have run into with SWA cards involves actually using them to pay for an entire reservation. Last time I tired this, you could not combine then, and you were limited to 3 forms of payment for a reservation. So when I was getting tickets for 4 on one reservation, I could only use 2 GC at the purchased value ($100) and then the balance needed to be on a CC. I would not want 5 $100 cards to be making reservations. You would need to have multiple reservations, which makes checking in, and thus boarding, a challenge. Having 2 one-way reservations for the entire party is better than having 2 round trip reservations for half the party each. (You only have to check in once each direction).
