I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! On Saturday, DH and I had our first date night in years. He took me to an employee Christmas party but before I get into that, I must admit I was absolutely frustrated trying to get ready.

I took a shower, washed & dried my hair and decided to try my son's hair gel. I squeezed out a hearty amount and tried to work it in my hair but it wasn't as smooth as it should have been. I put on my glasses only to discover I grabbed the wrong tube, it wasn't gel, it was glue. Seriously, hair glue and my hairbrush wouldn't go through without ripping out my locks! And I was running out of time!
OMG, this stuff is crazy! At least I can laugh about it now.

Anyway, great food, fantastic live band, amazing company and awesome prizes! DH won this TV.


And I won a $50 Visa gift card! But that glue! I couldn't wait to wash that out of my hair!

Just a note about the Staples deal - Staples is on both Dosh and Rakuten. I went to the Dosh app, found Staples, and opened that page but I didn’t click the “shop” link. Then I went to Rakuten, found Staples, and shopped through there. As has happened on occasion at different merchants, I immediately got a pop up saying I had earned cash back at Dosh! Hoping Rakuten tracks too. Oh, and the story said limit of 3, but I bought 6 Chipotle GCs (in one transaction). It let the purchase go through no problem. Still waiting for the actual GCs (I only ordered a few minutes ago), but hopefully they come through.

Only drawback is they're very slow to arrive. I'm talking slowwwww... like at least 3 weeks generally. So if you're new to this don't think they lost your order.

Yes! I saw it when you posted. I had done these deals before but thanks for the reminder. I think they good ones are only out around this time of year. I was able to get the DGC twice. One has already arrived and another ordered last week. I just ordered a few more of the new different store GC on there now. I see the Disney one is no longer listed.
