I bought a 50th gc for 150 (not personalized) and it tracked. My daughter bought a Lady and the Tramp (only $25). It didn't track. She got a 50th for $75, personalized, and it tracked.

Sheesh. The inconsistency is so annoying. I got 2 e-cards & 2 regular cards thanksgiving weekend, 2 separate orders, totaling $400. Picked 4 different designs, none of them tracked. Between that, the BJs & Sam’s sales, I’ve just purchased almost $3K in Disney gift cards. I can‘t keep trying hoping it’ll track. 🙄

I know what you mean.
We're staying at the Swan so I don't need them for the room. We've already bought park passes. We're only doing 2 sit down meals, so how much do I need, really? Between Sam's black Friday, the15% and now the 10%, I know I have enough.
It's like a challenge. Will it track or won't it???
 
Just got a 10% off Best Buy up to $25 for my new Southwest card (not sure if it’s a new Chase deal or the old deal added to a new card) and think I’ll stack that with the PayPal $25 off $250 deal.
Has anyone tried this (I’ve seen people do a similar Amex deal)? I think if I buy $275 worth of gift cards, I’ll get $25 off and then 10% of the remaining $250.

I think the mistake is you shouldn't start off with the assumption that it is going to track. Considering that officially gift cards are excluded.

Any time I do one of these deals using a portal where gift cards are excluded, I start with the assumption that they won't track and if they do pay out at the end I consider it a bonus.

I’m not making any mistake. I don’t expect it to track. I normally don’t even bother using Rakuten if I’m buying gift cards. What I said was the inconsistency is annoying. Apparently which gift card you happen to pick makes a difference. If the rules exclude gift cards, that‘s fine. But then exclude them all. Hearing stories that people who ordered at the same time I did and got paid because they randomly picked a different card design is, as I said, annoying to me.

My cash app is a 12% boost, max $20 per day, expires in 15 hours, YMMV. Definitely save the boost now if you are on the fence - they often disappear or decrease early. Did Disney send the cards yet? I purchased too, the 50th, but I haven't even been charged yet..it send pending, now it's not even showing on my card?
