DGC are sold in $50 & $100 only. The peep you're referring to purchased different gc.

Even though the order was split, peeps called Chase and they made it right, just don't mention you purchased gift cards.
Personally, I would order them separately to avoid the hassle.
CB sites, I don't have any DP's.

I forget what our Amazoni offer was for but DH followed the Discover email instructions to a T and it didn't work. He had to call a couple of times, during the last call Discover CS stayed with him on the phone and the offer finally worked.

What I found really interesting was after we made a gc purchase, I switched our primary card back to Amazoni Visa however, and this is big, a few days later I received an email from Amazoni about coming soon subscription orders, like double check if this is correct. Anyway, when I looked at the payment method on that order it was Discover and NOT Amazoni Visa.

I went back in to change the payment method and found it was on all future subscription orders. Each had to be changed manually. I don't know why it didn't happen automatically.
Thanks @FoxC63

I have the offer on 5 cards--to clarify, you're suggesting I buy the $50 and $100 GC on 2 separate transactions per card. I'm trying RMN to see if portal CB works. Does that also mean I should space out the purchases over time if it seems like it might track? Thanks for all your help.

I'm not seeing anything significant at Sam's Club. I don't fly SW, isn't this offer Everyday Pricing?

Yes. And remember with RMN you're only allowed 7 transactions at the same store per month. Since the CC offer doesn't expire until 8/08/24, you can buy more in August. But don't wait until the last day 8/08/24 to use the offer, give yourself some padding.

I purchased my limit of one transaction of 2 sets of gift cards for both Uber/Uber Eats and DoorDash last month when the deal first came out. On a whim, I decided to try again today to see if I can order more...I was able to for both Uber and DoorDash, so maybe the system reset for me now that it's a new month? Anyway, thought I'd share if any Costco members out there wanted to get more but were just limited to one transaction of 2 units last month. Thanks Fox for including this "still available" section which prompted me to give it a try!

Thanks @FoxC63

I had no problems buying both a 50 and 100 in one transaction. Did this on 2 separate cards, both fine. Did someone report a problem with Disney GC? The charge on my card is for $153.98. It tracked on RMN but that is not final for something like 6 weeks?

It was psychodisney who reported that Staples split their order up and they had 2 separate charges, and since the Chase offer is only for 1 order, they will only get the 10% back on the charge that posts first. However, I believe the reason their charge got split was because they ordered a $100 Disney gc, a $50 Disney gc, and a $20 Target gc and because they ordered 2 different types of gc (Disney and Target), that is why the charged got split. In your case, you ordered 1 type of gc but 2 different denominations and that is probably why you had it as one charge.

I used one of my Staples.com offers yesterday. Figured I try to max the $17 so I ordered $150 DGC and $20 Target (e-cards). They were split on my Chase login. Hoping I get the 10% off the Disney charge.

Thanks @FoxC63

I think the person whose Staples GC order got split into 2 transactions was because they ordered 2 DIFFERENT types of gift cards in the same order (Target and Disney). Someone else reported that they ordered a $100 Disney and a $50 Disney and the charge posted as one charge.

Unfortunately, there is no possible way to know for sure how the charge will post, so if you don't want to risk it just order 1 gift card on each credit card. However, in that case don't order $100 on one credit card and $50 on another credit card, that doesn't make any sense. Just order $100 on each credit card. Only order the $50 if you are ordering it in the same order with the $100 one.

As to RMN, I can confirm that on 5/9 I ordered the Home Sweet Home gift card from Staples when they had it on sale and it tracked with RMN and was paid out on 6/24. Again, there is no guarantee that just because it worked then it will work now, but at least it does seem like there is a good chance it will! (I should also point out that I also do at least 2 or 3 non gift card purchase from Staples each month, so I don't know if that makes a difference.)

Happy 4th of July Peeps!

What's a good movie for Independence Day?
  • 1776
  • Hamilton
  • The Sandlot
  • Hidden Figures
  • Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
  • Forrest Gump
  • The American President
None of the above? We took the kids to see Despicable Me 4. Went to the before noon showing so tickets were $5 and the theater was packed.

Thanks--I bought only $100 on one of my cards but I'll buy one of each for my next purchase. I went through RMN so hopefully it tracks! I'll have to read the fine print but I'm guessing it's only one purchase so I messed that first one up. Oh well :(

I appreciate your feedback.

I’m wanting to buy $5000 in gift cards from Target with my Target Debit card. Is there a limit on how much I can buy in a single transaction or certain timeframe? Hoping there will be Target Circle Bonuses I can earn this coming week from buying them too!
