When I come home from Vegas I wash ALL my clothes--whether they were worn or not--for the same reason.

I had lunch with Amy and Beth today which was long overdue and much needed, but now I am WAAAAYYY behind in everything that I need to do in order to be ready to leave Thursday morning. Ty's laundry is done and he is packed except for shoes and socks, which I won't add until at least Tuesday maybe Wednesday. As for me, I am slogging through my laundry and can't even begin to fathom what I am wearing this weekend beyond my costume for Friday night. Speaking of which, I think that after multiple trips to Joann Fabrics, the costume store and special ordering overalls for Dave, we finally have all three costumes together and ready to go.

Tracey--hey ride buddy, we should be in by mid-afternoon on Thursday so I would love to see you! I know that at one point we had talked about an after the parks close meet up that night... did anything ever get finalized?

Theresa and Donna--are either of you collecting series 2 of the Vinylmation pins? I got several on our last trip and I am down to 3-4 that I am looking for. Plus, I have a couple duplicates. If you are collecting, I would love to compare to see if we could do some trades and help each other out. This trip I want to start the holiday vinylmation pin set.

The next three days are going to be a drag, and I have to work late both tomorrow and Wednesday (like always) which makes the days even longer. But, with everything I need to do, there probably won't be enough hours in the days!

Alrighty! I'm throuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggh with my costume! WaHOoooOOOo! For some reason i just couldn't get into putting mine together. I think it turned out cute. Mine and My mom's are all made from clothing items and material we had at home. So another green project completed.

Hi Dawn... I have finally settled on mine too, and it's all from stuff I already had. I may just need a little makeup and some kind of bag that I can make.

Thanks for the info I never have a car when I'm there, so I had no idea...... It's Disneyland Express for us this time, so hopefully our flight gets there at a good time and we catch one relatively quickly. I hate flying into LAX, but it was the cheapest option this time (actually, I have only ever flown into LAX )

Donna - I'm really hoping there are some of the small Vinylmations left in the parks. Unfortunately, I think they are really cute and now I must get some..... bummer! I tried to resist, but they are calling my name and would look too cute in my office

We did have a super time at the DL game. Really a lot of fun. If only it wasn't so hot and crowded, but after a lunch break, we got our mojo back.

I scored the second-highest score on Buzz lightyear out of all the participants - most of which were young guys! That mattered because it applied to our score.

Can't wait to see everyone.

I made an unscheduled trip to DL yesterday and people started waiting in front of the castle for the fireworks at 5:30!!! That's 4 hours of waiting for fireworks!!!

Ok girlies it's crunch time!
We need to determine times for meeting at MTOTP and the Plaza Inn.

I remember reading that some of the ladies wanted to meet at 6:00 - 6:30 to take pictures before we go our separate ways. I just don't remember the location.

Was our plan to watch the fireworks while we were eating at the Plaza Inn? If so, why would we be going so early? The fireworks aren't until 9:25. I'm confuzzled!

Kaitlyn has the same problem as Kaeleb.

I thought I might me the only one this problem!! My DS is a towel hoarder!! He uses about 4 towels a day (2 in the morning & 2 after football practice) & it seems like I'm washing a load of towels every other day. I don't know why he needs to use 2 towels at once . And even though I told him he can use a towel more than once if he hangs it up, he doesn't seem to believe me .

As far as the pics go 6:30 would be good for us. We have a dinner ressie at Rainforest at 5 and then we have to run back to our room and change. So 6 would be cutting it a little close but I think we could make 6:30 for sure.

And as for Plaza Inn I kind of figured a bit later as well but I was thinking if it got too late and we got hungry earlier we might just eat dinner somewhere else and just have desert there while waiting for the fireworks but that's cuz our lunch ressies that day is at 11 so I know we prob are going to be hungry for dinner around 5 or 6. But I DEF like the idea of everyone hanging and visiting at Plaza Inn and like I said if others are eating a late dinner we could join and just eat desert.

I just need to know when you guys are going to be there.

Great job!! Are you ready to ride it this weekend? We rode it at WDW and it STINKS!! I had forgotten how much better the DL version is. Can you believe we only rode it 1 time??

I was worried that the housing office would be closed this week because of the furlough days but the lady called me back and they will be open until Thursday, 5pm. I'm not worried about my costume arriving on time because it's GUARANTEED to arrive tomorrow via UPS. I'm worried about the accessories because they are really need to complete the whole look. If they don't arrive by Thursday I'll have to make a quick run to the store and get cheap substitutes DONOTWANT.
Here's to hoping everything arrives in time!

I just realized I, too, need to pack! I'll be staying from Friday to Sunday! I better do Laundry Thursday so that everything will be fresh and ready for the trip. I'm not sure about the weather. They said it should be in the high 70s but it's cloudy and chilly over here.

Weather Channel says it's going to be 85 on Friday, 80 on Saturday and 80 on Sunday. DONOTWANT

I was tired when I posted last night and wanted to say a little more about how much fun it was with Cheryl, Amy and Brandy at the game. It was my first time ever doing an organized hunt type game like this and it was a blast.

Getting to have Cheryl to myself the night before was a real treat and we had a great time chatting about everything. Amy joined us after an errand and then it was hard not to talk and laugh all night - we all called the hoax about balloon boy long before it was announced this weekend.

Anyway, Cheryl's mom is just as interesting a conversationalist as she is and we had a wonderful time talking after the game. Thank you, Cheryl, for being so kind and opening your lovely home to us.

About the weather... keep checking weather.com to track changes. It is supposed to be 85 high on the party day. It does cool off a lot at night, so if your costume is skimpy, consider whether you want some kind of coverup later.

The party doesn't start until 7:30 and at first you can only get into Sunshine Plaza, and it gets really, really crowded until they open everything else up. So, I think that we would be fine doing a later picture rather than meeting at 6:30 and then standing around for 45 minutes to an hour waiting to get in. But, that's just MHO.

Jane, are you stopping for dinner on the way to the party (you're staying at the Hojo, right?)???

We are at Hojo and are planning to get dinner before the party although I don't know exactly where yet. It will likely be Mimi's so that we can get dinner and then go back to the room and change afterwards.
