**Thanks for being patient with us. I think we have finally got our game plan down and have more or less decided on our ADRs. I call on Wednesday to make them. So, here's your last chance to weigh in. We always appreciate your feedback. As you can see, we still have one question mark.**

DH and I are going to WDW from January 12th - 16th and we're sooooo excited. I think we finally got our ADRs sorted out. We haven't been to some of these of these before, so if you have any comments, that would be great. We are purchasing the DDP. We don't eat breakfast typically.

Monday - Magic Kingdom
Lunch - Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe (CS)
Dinner - Kona Cafe (TS) *ADR made for 5pm*

Tuesday - Animal Kingdom / Epcot
Lunch - Yak and Yeti (CS)
Dinner - Biergarten (TS) *ADR made for 7:45pm*

Wednesday - Magic Kingdom / Disney's Hollywood Studios
Lunch - ? (CS)
Dinner - Pop Century Food Court (CS)

Thursday - Epcot
Lunch - Snack Around the World (Snacks)
Dinner - Garden Grill (TS) *ADR made for 7:10pm*

Friday - Resort Hopping
Breakfast - 1900 Park Fare (TS) *ADR made for 11:00am*

What's so bad about them? I mean, unless you don't like turkey.

I'm in the camp that thinks they're nasty. They don't actually taste like turkey. They taste more like a really messy, greasy ham to me. Just not my thing, but you may love it. You should definitely give it a try to find out for yourself. I would only order one to share. 2 reasons....

1)They're huge!
2)You may decide to trash it in favor of something else. ;)

For DHS don't eat at Pizza Planet. We usually eat here for our first lunch and this year the kids hated it. They must of changed the pizzas because they were pretty gross.

Ok but where should we eat then? There just seem to be no real options at DHS.

Do you only want counter service at DHS? We like the ABC Commisary. Their Cuban sandwiches are super yummy! As for table service at DHS, we like Sci-Fi and Mama Melrose's (with Sci-Fi being our fav!)

I have to ask why you are doing more table service for lunch? Dinner is a much better use of those credits! Have you priced out if you paid OOP for your planned meals would cost you versus the DDP. If you are doing most lunches with your table service credits you might find that you really aren't saving anything (and might be paying more) by going with the DDP. Just a thought :)

We are doing two table service lunches and two table service dinners. We are doing lunch on our AK day because they close before we would like to eat dinner and plan to spend a relaxing evening at the resort. And we are doing Biergarten for lunch because after a morning in Epcot we're hopping over to DHS where our experience of food has been bad. We figured it out and the DDP is WELL worth our money. We would be paying almost $37 out of pocket each day for just one meal and for the same price we get two meals and a snack.

We tried Sci-Fi Dine-In last time and thought the food was absolutely nauseating. That and the quick service spot in Mexico were the only meals out of everywhere we've eaten that we couldn't stomach. Maybe others can give their imput but my understanding was that Mama Melrose was pretty mediocre Italian food. So, I think we'll stick to quick service at this park until they add something interesting to their table service lineup.

Could you tell me more about the ABC Commisary?

Three comments:

1) Turkey legs are worth trying but share one. They are greasy and by the time you finish one you will have had enough.
2) I am not among the camp that don't like Toy Story Pizza Planet. We have been to WDW 4 times and always enjoy our lunch there.
3) If you are really Mr and Mrs Smith (AKA Brad and Angelina) why aren't you eating at fancy TS restaurants for all of your meals. :rotfl2:

We are really Mr. and Mrs. Smith but we're the tap-water-and-share-a-happy-meal Mr. and Mrs. Smith not that Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Me and DW like Pizza Planet, the veggi pitza or I think they call it the junk yard combo, get a salad , drink and a cookie with it. Will be getting that again in Sept.

Which would be better at DHS: Studio Catering Company or Toy Story Pizza Planet?

We are also looking for suggestions for a quick service meal on our last night there. We are leaving in the evening, after dinner, to go home.

Monday
Spoodles (dinner)

Tuesday
Yak and Yeti (lunch)
Pop Century Food Court (dinner)

Wednesday
Tangierine Cafe (lunch)
Garden Grill (dinner)

Thursday
Biergarten (lunch)
Studio Catering Company or Toy Story Pizza Planet (dinner)

Friday
turkey legs at MK (lunch)
? - quick service at MK or at a nearby resort (dinner)

MY OPINION!
Spoodles = Great!
Yak & Yet= Great!
Pop Century is good but wouldn't go to a CS in the hotel if I had other options like the park CS'S. But if that's your only option I have done it you do get a good meal.
Turkey legs. In my opinion were bad. I don't like smoked food.

The food choices look good but I agree with the poster that said that you may actually be paying more for the DDP by using your TS credits at lunch. We're trying the DDP for the 1st time in October and we're using all but one of our TS credits for dinner. We'll use one for breakfast. That way we know we're getting our money's worth. Most of the places I've chosen for TS meals have entrees that I will eat in the $25-$40 range and that's before dessert. Well worth it to me.

We have made a few changes. Check out my OP. The changes we made are in bold.

We obviously still need some help choosing one TS dinner.

You asked
Which would be better at DHS: Studio Catering Company or Toy Story Pizza Planet?

My opinion I would say neither.
If your looing for a CS Then eat at Rosie Cafe. If you want a table service then go to Prime Time.

Rosie's All American Cafe seems to only have burgers and chicken strips basically. My experience of both at WDW hasn't been so good.
