UPDATE: Time Set! May 10th Magic DIS meet

Update: The poll shows most people prefer Saturday at 3 pm so let's plan on meeting then on deck 10 - mid ship - port side. This would be above the goofy pool. A great place (though noisy) for sailaway, but at 3 pm we should be able to all hear ourselves talk!

Since we've been going round and round as to where to meet I thought it would be fun to take a little poll. Let's see what everyone wants.

Open for ideas as to where. We could do deck 10 above the goofy pool which shouldn't be too crowded at either of those times.

Or we could do inside at the Promade Lounge either of those two times.

I've also added an option for those who want to get together at the Radisson on Friday.

Would the Sunday at 10am meet time be a conflict for second seating guests attending Character Breakfast Sunday morning (it would start at 9:45am)? Just thought I'd throw that out there.

My kids will likely be napping @ 3PM, so I should be able to break away to meet. It's just that you all won't see my cute kids...

Oh well - I'm open to any and all suggestions. Just trying to come up with something and we weren't making headway in the original thread.

I voted for Saturday, because I don't want to miss anything (like Art of Entertaining) on Sunday

No one has been giving thier opinons of the PLACE for the meet. WDWLVR, I think you said either deck 10 above Goofy pool or Promenade Lounge. I vote Deck 10, because I don't think the Promenade Lounge will be very exciting for the kids, who will be so excited about being on the ship, and will want to be up on deck where they can see what's going on.

What does everyone else think?

I agree that Deck 10 would be best for the kids. Just trying to give options as some people don't like the sun. I'm all for an outside meet. 3pm should be quieter than sailaway and if we all meet up at the same place at sailaway all the better - we can party together it is just hard to meet and talk at sailaway.

Looks like Saturday at 3 pm is winning. Anyone else want to vote?

My sister and I would love the opportunity to meet folks - and Saturday sounds good. By 3 we should be done scrambling for spa treatments, and it will be a nice break before the "drill"

I just realized Sat is the day we board the ship. Pls don't wait for me then. We're planning to visit the Space Center that day, so we may not even be on the ship yet at 3 PM...

We will be flying in that morning but if all goes well will be on the boat around 1 pm.

Saturday at 3pm sounds good to us- we will definitely try to be there. Hopefully we'll be able to find our way around the ship!

The wait is getting to a fevered pitch at our house! Luckily this is a really busy time at work so I barely have time to think about the cruise, but boy will I be ready for a vacation by the time it comes!
