Update re protests

Just watched 20 or 30 protesters walk down Harbor from over the I 5 overpass to the Disneyland entrance, followed by probably 20 mounted police and some police cars. they are now at the Disney crosswalk. Didn't make my 6 year old and I nervous at all-just used it for a nice conversation about how lucky we are to have freedom of speech as Americans-but thought folks might like to know.

We were just walking back over to check into Anaheim Plaza and heard the commotion. We saw a couple of groups of protesters who were obviously not from the surrounding neighborhoods and various clusters of uniformed officers. It was peaceful ennough and certainly a good opportunity to discuss our freedoms and rigts as well as stratification and anarchism. Interesting views from the all too intelligent young ladies with us!

We just crossed the street and walked through the protesters and then back. It's very low key, they are all very young, and it certainly wasn't threatening or intimidating in any way. There are about a dozen cops and Disney security folks hanging out in the shade.

I didn't post this to reignite any controversy-just wanted to update folks and perhaps reassure you.
