Well, I went back to have more pictures and eventually an ultrasound. They found a definite abnormality and there was a question of it being one of three things - a lymph node, a cyst, or a solid mass. Unfortunately it is the worst of the three. It is a solid mass. The radiologist did say that is well contained and had smooth edges. I'm going to have a biopsy as soon as one can be arranged.

I'm pretty upset but still remaining positive. The weird thing is, it's not even the area that sent me to the doctor and to have a mammogram in the first place. It is in a completely different area. Thanks again for everyone's thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. I'm sure I'll be asking for more.

I hope and pray that it all turns out just fine. Hang in there!

My best wishes, Cindabella's Mom. Hoping it proves to be nothing of consequence. So many here have been right where you are. Prayers are with you, please update when you can.

:grouphug: Cindabella's Mom, I hope everything goes well for you. It sounds encouraging that it's well contained. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Take care and keep us posted.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie. Saying prayers that this is benign. I know how frightening this must be for you. I've been in your spot and it worked out alright for me.

Please keep us posted.

that stinks. Sorry. My mother has had many cysts and masses.........she's doing great. Keep thinking happy thoughts..................

I've been in your shoes and hoping and praying that this will be one club you won't have to join. I was very lucky well that is if you can use the word lucky and cancer in the same sentence........Mine also was a rare form of bc and self contained so I did not have to lose my breast but did have to go thur chemo and rad.tx. It will be 1 year in April that I had my last tx. and you think that time will never past, but it does.

Lots of prayers and PD coming your way to help you during this time. Remember we all are here for you if you need a shoulder, hug or to just vent.

 Cindabella's Mom. Keep your chin up and remember that the odds are in your favor. Waiting must be incredibly awful though. :(

I said a prayer for you.

A few years ago I was in a similar situation. I had what they described as a smooth solid mass. It was biopsied and turned out to be benign, but boy was I stressed out waiting for the biopsy, so I know how you must feel. God bless.

My thoughts are with you...........

Im sorry this is happening to you
Good luck - hope everything goes well

I know this is scary. Hang in there. You'll be alright.

Thinking of you....keep us updated. :grouphug:
