Update: Orange County Sherriffs on Property.

I just went to the Poly and back to confirm some reservations... On the 536 entrance to WDW, just past the DTD Exit, they had a Sherriff on the overpass running radar on the cars below.

They had 4 different cars pulled over each time I passed. They even had a MEARS bus pulled over. I knew one of the guys they pulled over!

Not surprising.....several months ago there were many reports on these boards about how they would be cracking down on speeders at WDW....most whom appear to be CM's on their way to work

Not surprised they are catching allot of speeders. I was there last week and boy some people were passing me like I was standing still. It did seem to more local cars not the nice shinny rental cars!!

They also hang out on the road from the MK Toll Plaza to the resorts (CR, WL, POLY, FW, and GF).

A while back on the Dis, a warning was released about how they are cracking down on speeders on this road.

Just Beware, it is hectic with Sherrif's right now. Whatever you do, go the speed limit. Nobody wants to get a ticket after a nice day at Disney, and trust me, they are just waiting (and rightfully so in my opinion). The speeds that everyone went on that road (including myself at time) was really out of control.

Yeah, I have seen them more often than usual on WDW property lately. This is the first time I have ever seen them running radar from the overpass though. That was a shocker.

Yeah, I'm generally on property at least 5 out of 7 days of the week. It's been crazy lately.

I thought we saw allot more police around when we were there in November too. One time there were 4 parked at a corner. Perhaps something was going on, but there was no accident and they hadn't pulled anyone over either.

They try to find new hiding spots all the time. We have started watching our speed alot closer because they always seem to pop up when we least expect it.
