My DD came home and I got all the quests stuff. Here is what changed. They are either phasing out the series 1 or were out of the cards. We were missing a LOT of stuff. I sent her with completed quests so I should have received back all current quest.

There is the Thrill Seekers quest I sent her with 3 copies of the quest and there was 6 people in the group so I didn't know if I woud get just 3 back or all 6. I got 6

I didn't get any Tomorrowland quest stuff even though I sent in the compueted quest but I did get pink Nemo chairs. I guess they are substituting.

There was no Adventureland stuff as previously reported. For Frontierland
all we got was the Cactus Chair there was no ace of spades carpet or no Red Saddleseat. For Fantasyland there was no briarstone or heartless hamper but I did get the Fantasyland Retro pins. What is it with this pin? Last time I was in WDW they gave me 2 with every set of quests. Why do they have these cards and not the others?

They did inculde the Tent room, Safari Lifestyle poster, Gorilla and Rhino posters, Hippo Rug and Safari Carpet

I also sent in Tent room pdf for each ticket and I did get them even though the tent room was in the quest packs.

So there was hardly any of the regular old quest we are used to. I don't know what that means. Maybe someone can find out more information.

Hmm, that's very interesting. My friend and her family turned in quests a couple days ago and they didn't say they were missing any cards. Will have to ask.

The CM probably overlooked the tomorrowland cards and never gave them up. When the VMK CMs are bored, they put rubberbands around the prize packs of cards for doing the quests, minus the print up Tomorrowland cards. They only give those when the print up is presented, and when dealing with 6 people, it's very easy to overlook that those cards are involved too.

I often have to remind the CM once they're done that the Tomorrowland cards were not added, kind of in the same fashion you'd remind the McDonalds chick that she forgot your straw or BBQ sauce. No complaint here though, they normally hook it up better once the error is caught... WDW.. not McDonalds.

We were at WDW over Easter Break and we got all the cards you said you didn't get (we didn't get Adventureland, of course)

One of my students went to WDW for April vacation and brought me back some quest items. Included were the Ace of Spades carpet, the red saddle seats, transportation magic, magenta rocket couch, and the briarstone (among many other things). This was the week after Easter. Perhaps they ran out after this especially busy week?

I was at WDW this past Monday, and I turned in a bunch of quest stuff and got extras of some cards.

The only card I was missing for a complete set of Series 1 was the 29/30 VMK Credits card. I asked if they had any behind the counter, and he gave it to me in return for answering a Disney trivia question. "Something appears in Finding Nemo from another Pixar movie, what is it?" he asked. The answer he wanted was "the Pizza Planet truck". He didn't even know about the Buzz Lightyear, the Knick Knack mermaid, the Incredibles kids in the dentist waiting room, or the Cars on the road. :)

I asked about the VMK pin they were giving out between Christmas and New Years. They had no info on if/when it might ever come back.

I also asked about the VMK tours, and was told: "Those aren't ever coming back. They were meant for the kids, but the only people who ever went on them were forty-year-olds with nothing better to do. The tours just got in the way."
