Here is the latest...

This shows the concrete poured and one of the granite steps in place. We got the bricks delivered I am now the proud owner of 1300 Glen-Gery 56DD Clay Pavers :)

This shows the cutting of the granite step. I do want to say that I DON"T reccomend trying this unless you know what you are doing! You can see all the safety equipment in the picture and it is all neccesary. It is loud, the dust is incredible. It is a pretty hazardous job and the only reason I did it was because of the incredible deal I got on the granite.
I actually cut it with the Circular saw that is on the ground, equipped with a DeWalt Diamond Blade, it actually has industrial diamonds embedded into the blade itself. I couldn't cut all the way through but I could cut far enough to wack off the end with a sledgehammer. It won't be noticable once it is in place.

Here is a view of the path. DW dug out some holes to the right depth. We have some high school kids coming over to dig tomorrow and that way they will be able to see how deep to go.

Looking good so far Alex. I like the granite steps. That should look fantastic with the red pavers.

Congrats on the brick ownership, Alex!! :)

Everything looks like it's coming along great, thank you for keeping us updated.

I hope the weather co-operates for your work crew today. :)

I was just thinking.....what about a Flower and Garden board brick laying meet????? Can you all be here next weekend?

Frozen Margarita's and Brick sounds like a FUN MEET! Can't guarentee what the walkway will look like though.

Too many of those margaritas could cause some smashed fingers,,...oh well, i'm there! didn't need ten of them anyway!

Sure... But if I am late just start with out me.:smooth: :smooth: Besides my weekend is Tue and Wed....

Wow! I don't think I realized that you were doing this on your own. That's a lot of work, especially those granite steps. It is gonna be downright gorgeous, I bet!
