Update on point morphing?

Is there any update as to whether point morphing is still routinely occuring?

I believe this was corrected sometime last summer. Points should now retain the correct resort and use year.

Does anyone know if we are still limited to one transfer per membership number either in or out per use year? Or, is DVC allowing you to transfer in points from multiple members, now that there appears to be no more morphing?

I tried to transfer a couple of weeks ago and I was told by MS that I couldn't because I had already transfered for this calendar year.

The rule about one transfer per year had nothing to do with morphing. Disney is still apparently enforcing this rule.

Despite claims to the contrary, the computer system is still routinely morphing points.

However, depending on the MS-Advisor who access said points, if they spend the time checking origin contract, they will inforce the original point UY and Home Resort. If the Advisor is busy, confused or in a generous mood, they will allow you to use them as if they were allocated into your contract.

For me it has been pretty close to 50-50.

I wanted to change the points I used for a Jan reservation and was looking at different ways to accomplish this. The CM started to say something about transferring points, but then corrected herself and said that I had already used my transfer for the year.
