Update on our friend/coworker

The one who was going in to have his thyroid removed for thyroid cancer -- he came through the surgery just fine. So hopefully this will take care of the worst of it. I don't know anything more on his lungs, if it really is lung cancer or if he just had a bad case of pneumonia.
