Update on Madison

[Minnesota!]

Madison is my 4 year old god daughter who I told you about a few months back. She was diagnosed with ANOTHER brain tumor in Septemeber - her third in her 4 short years. This one has been deemed inoperable because of its location (on the brain stem) and she has had her maximum lifetime of radiation.

So, she started chemotherapy in October. They had her MRI this morning to see what kind of effect the chemo has had.

Unfortunately, there has been no good effect. Actually, the tumor has slowly grown. They will be discussing any other possible option next week.

When her mom told her the medicine did not work, Madison's response was "I'm sorry mom, I tried my hardest.". How &#$*!@ sad is that????? This poor child. I am just heartbroken.

Mom and Dad bought a house last week, because Madison really wanted one so she could have a puppy. The benefit was more sucesseful than anyone could have ever imagined, but it did not bring happiness for long

If you could all please include this family, mom Brooke, dad George, little sister MacKenzie and of course Madison, in your prayers, it would be so appreciated...

Oh, this is just so sad. I do remember your stories about little Madison, I am so sorry that she has not responded well to the chemotherapy.

I'm not ashamed to say that I am sitting here crying. I was excited when I saw your post and was hopeful that it was good news..........
