Update on James, my friends brother 6/23

It has been over a week since I updated everyone.

He had his hip surgery last week. The pain from that was very bad, so bad that hey had to give him an epidural and he had that for 3 days.

By the weekend he was doing better, On Sunday they had him up on crutches and the epidural and all other tubes were removed. He is healing very well and doing well on the crutches. So well that he was released from the hospital today and he does NOT have to go to a (in house) rehab center for a week like they origionally thought!!

He had a little setback last night when he fell, right on the stump but he is okay. His spirits are still high, just came down a notch or two. I think it is finally hitting him that his life will not be the same.

So thank you to everyone that prayed for this family or thought good thoughts. It has been a long 2 1/2 weeks and he is done wonderfully and I think all the postive viebs were doing wonders.

I'm glad that James is doing better. It will be a roller coaster ride for him for a while though.
