Last year the big news was the announcement of changes coming to Genie+ this year.

Has there been any update on when those changes will be announced or when they will go into affect?

Tons of speculation and 'wishes' from folks who want to improve G+ themselves - but certainly nothing official yet from Disney.

Nothing yet. I've seen some speculation on Touring Plans that there may be something coming precipitating moving the room-only cancellation out further. But nothing firm.

The biggest rumor is getting to do Genie+ reservations in advance like the old Fastpass+ system, but so far no word.
