Just FYI, after the test period is over we have been told that the dining times on the ships will GO BACK to the original times of 6:00 pm for early and 8:30 pm for late dining.

Right now on the Magic, the dining times are 5:30 and 7:45 pm, until September 28.

On the Wonder the dining times are 5:45 and 8:00 pm, until October 3.

Just a heads up for those who are planning for later cruises. :)

Bummer! I liked the new times.

Ahh well! Can't make everyone happy all the time :) 1/2 hour won't kill me or anything I don't guess.

Now if they'd just figure out a way to make sure the wee ones can stay with the Mickey Pool, I'll be happy! :)

When you say until Sept. 28, does that include the Sept. 28 cruise?

Good question, Tiiiigergirl, I believe that it does NOT include sailings on 9/28 and 10/3 and those are the actual end dates, but I'm not positive.

thanx for this important FYI on dining times Michelle!

Thanks for letting us know, I like those times as we went for late seating on the 9/21.

Anyone know what times the shows are now?

Well that figures. The CM that I talked to on Thursday seemed to think that the new times were going to go into effect permanently. She said that our late seating on the Oct 26th sailing would more than likely be moved to 8:00 instead of 8:30. Oh well, looks like we might try to get early seating.

Thanks, Michelle! I am a p/t TA and was told two days ago that when the trial period ends, the dining times would be set at 5:45 and 8:00 permanently on both ships. Looks like things are always subject to change!

More confusion! I had the same question as Tiiiigergirl. Thanks for the information.

Yikes, interesting that other folks have heard the times will be 5:45 and 8:00. We were told by both someone on the ship last month and someone at DCL it would be 6:00 and 8:30 again after the test period.

I guess we'll have to wait and see for sure! :)

Not even CLOSE, Tiiiiigergirl. ;)

I just let you guys know what I'm told!

Michelle really does know everything, they just keep changing the everything she is supposed to know. :D

We are sailing on 9/28 and when I called last week (Thursday) I was told our times are 5:45 and 7:30. Didn't ask about future cruises though. :D

I hope we get a DEFINITE answer soon (but probably not until after the dates given) Like I said the CM from DCL told me that the times would be a permanent change, even though they aren't in the system that way yet.

If they don't change the times then we are going to HAVE to change to the earlier seating. We headed out to a late dinner tonight (7:45) and DS was a MESS. He was crying and cranky because he was SO sleepy. There's NO WAY I can go through that every evening (he usually is in bed by 7:30 - 8:00) We may miss the shows with the early dinner (because he'll need to go to bed) but at least we will have a peaceful and enjoyable dinner!

Hi folks,

I posted this in my response to another thread as well but thought it belonged here too. I spoke with CM at DCL-Castaway Club this morning (like 5 minutes ago) regarding adding the Disney Club credit and while I had her on the phone asked about the dining times, specifically were they going back to 6 & 8:30 or staying permanently at 5:30 & 7:45. She said that although they had many inquiries they (CMs) have been told no decision has been made nor will a decision be made until after the present trials are over the end of Sept/beginning of Oct.

So it seems to depend a little bit on who you're talking too!
