Update on Caitlyn

Ellen (Robin's mom) & I finally connected today. She is holding up well, keeping very busy. They were able to get visitation with Caitlyn so she'll have her every other weekend. Right now Caitlyn is living with her paternal grandmother, her birth father doesn't have a place of his own so he isn't able to have her live with him right now.

They are also supposed to be able to call and talk to Caitlyn but that hasn't worked out very well. Caitlyn has seemed to be very busy lately never available to talk when they call.

Ellen said that she seems okay, just very sad. Almost the 1st question she asked her was why she couldn't come live with her. Ellen told her that right now the rules said she had to live where her daddy wanted her too. She thought that was a way to explain it that Caitlyn could understand.

Ellen of course has some of the same concerns that we all do that Caitlyn needs to be spending time with people who are grieving for her mother.

Please keep Caitlyn and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am glad to hear that Caitlyn's grandmother at least got visitation rights. My prayers remain with this little girl, that God will work everything out for her.

At least Caitlyn's maternal grandmother is able to see her and make sure she is physically ok. I pray that God is with her and will help her through this very hard time.

That is great that she gets to go to her Grandmother's every other weekend. Maybe somehow she could visit a child ccounselor to help her go through the grieving process.

That poor little girl..my thought and prayers continue to be with her. I pray that child gets what she needs, and no more pain and saddness I am glad that her maternal grandmother got visitation rights.

My heart sinks and my eyes mist up just seeing that sweet face. I'm glad that Ellen is getting to see her, but that is just not enough. I guess my ultimate wish would be for her to have full custody, but I am not sure that will ever happen.

Thanks for the update, I too have been wondering about little Caitlyn. I think everyone's wish is for her grandmother to have custody, we're all praying for that. Hopefully her other grandparents are taking care of her. Continued prayers for Caitlyn from me and my family.
