Update on annual pass upgrade from 7-day hopper

I upgraded my 6 day base ticket to an AP in November at the same location as the OP and didn't have any problems at all. The CM knew exactly what to do, so I guess it just depends on what CM you get.
We agree on that. However, my theory is that because of the way that particular location is staffed, you may be more likely to get a CM who is not fully trained in matters such as this.

Thanks to everyone for the replies on my question! My tickets were part of a resort package, and with the impending ticket price increase, hopefully it happens before I'm down there on 2/26, and I can turn that into a bit of a "bonus" for me if I choose to bridge.

I upgraded mine inside Magic Kingdom at the Guest Relations on Main Street back in October. The CM knew exactly what to do, and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. She gave me a passholder booklet and a temporary card, until my official card and magic band were shipped to me. I think management, as well as staff turnover rate can all play a factor. I've had some amazingly knowledgeable CM's, and some that were just plain ridiculous.
