Guess I too didint believe we could actually book on line this year.

I called at 7 am and was on hold for 51 minutes.

Didnt like the dining time the cm said was available 3:45 for the 6:45 show.

We always do 6:45 but this year we will try the 8:15 show, so we got

11/30 8:15 show eating at 5:45 at Via Napoli.

Based on this thread, I think next year I will go on line but also have the phone in hand and do both at once and take and book whatever I get through to first, online or a live cm.

Tried to make this ressie online a few minutes ago for Chefs De France. I preferred December 14th ,for anything between 5pm and 7pm , but would take any other date. I tried them all , from December 13th through December 19th and got nothing for Chefs De France during the 5 to 7 pm time slot.
I know I should have gotten up earlier this morning , but I have been ill all week and last night was a rough one. So it was my own fault, I know.
But as a last ditch effort I called Disney Dining figuring a reservation person could kinda give me an idea what was still available.
VOILA! I got Chefs De France on December 14th at 5:10 pm !!!
Yahoo! And a big hug to the lady on the phone for getting it for me! I feel better already.
So I guess if you can't seem to get it online , possibly try and call . Good Luck to everyone. Hope you all get your first choices.

That is great news. It is always to keep calling just in case someone cancels or more time slots are added later. You never know when you might get what you want. I do really like the ease of going online and seeing everything though.

I went online this morning and was able to book at 515 LaHacienda with the 815 show on Black Friday So excited as this is the only day we were able to go

Went online at 7am. Booked my first choice Via Napoli for the 5pm show. Got a reservations time of 12:45. Do you no longer have to be between 1:45 and 2:45 for the 5pm show?

I have noon at Le Cellier (online) for the 5pm show. It was the ONLY time that was offered to me.

I called disney dining a little while ago to see if I could get anything later and it was totally 100% gone for Christmas eve. When I told her I had a noon seating I could hear some panic in her voice. She was worried there was a computer glitch because she had been told ONLY between 1:45 and 2:45 so she didn't think I had a valid reservation. When she plugged in the reservation number it came up as valid. So maybe they were offering earlier times online and later times through disney dining?

I don't know. It definitely doesn't say. It also didn't say the cost of the package, but just gave a range of prices and my credit card has not been charged, so I guess that they are holding our credit card on file again this year.

I do know that they are not exchanging regular dining reservations for CLP package event dining reservations. When you go online, you will be given the option of cancelling one and accepting the newer reservation.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can let us know.

Well, I was really tired this morning and you won't believe what I did by mistake.

First, I went online to the correct link, but clicked on one of the restaurant links. Then on that page I started inputing information, but realized that it was a regular dining reservation instead of a CLP package dining reservation.

The time slot showed multiple slots, but no show time. Thank goodness I knew better even though I was so tired.

I went back to the original page at the bottom and used that input.

Now I saw the time slots of the three show times.

I tried to get Le Cellier Steakhouse for the second or third show, but there was nothing. It appeared that they were only opening times for the first show at 5pm show.

Okay. I went ahead booked...yea!

Second mistake, I hit the Les Chefs de France booking button right below the Le Cellier Steakhouse button by mistake. Thank goodness I checked the confirmation.

I went back and placed a booking for Le Cellier Steakhouse and it gave me the option to cancel the Chefs de France booking.

The only problem was my correction booking was for an hour earlier. Everyone must be booking Le Cellier Steakhouse for CLP on the same date as me.

Then I made a second CLP package booking without issues and started posting back here and updating the first thread.

So here is what I got:

Thursday, November 29, 2012, 335pm The Garden Grill, 645 CLP show.
Wednesday, December 12, 2012, 1215pm Le Cellier Steakhouse, 5pm CLP show.

You're welcome. I wasn't much help. I don't have much experience with Dining Plan. It was just to much food for me. Especially since I felt the need to use every single meal. I just have no self control.

I also got LeCellier for 12 noon just on 12/22 and thought it was wierd. I do have an email confirmation but when I tried to plug it into the site under MY RESERVATIONS that was the only one that had error. I just thought that was everyone online booking. Now I am worried!!

I got my reservation completed online for Biergarten 5pm show. I need to cancel an existing ADR for Biergarten. The system tried, but failed.

Got mine online while I was waiting on hold on the phone. Got 12/1 which is what I wanted. Couldn't get 8:15 show, but got 6:45 show. (3:30 dinner reservation)

Person picked up at 7:12, just as I was finishing entering everything for my 2nd reservation online for Via Napoli. Got 3:30 dining for the 6:45 show on both Christmas Eve and 12/27.

Just booked my dinner at the Garden Grill for the 8:15pm show for Dec 6

Got Garden Grill for 4:30 on December 3rd!!!!Funny thing...I'm at WDW now! Gotta get to AK!

I got Teppan Edo for the 12/5 2nd CP I guess we'll be having dinner at 3:40pm

I got put on hold at 6 a.m., and shortly thereafter made my reservations for Rose & Crown for the 8:15 p.m. show (4:50 p.m. dinner) on 12/5.

We got in about 5 minutes ago! December 25th at 1:30 Rose & Crown with a 5pm showing! We seem to have gotten very lucky with the timing, we can't get the system to work now for ANY reservation making.

Was on hold for 20 minutes but got Le Cellier, 12/13 at 12:55pm.

I was able to get Friday 12/14 at Tutto Italia for the 8:15 show with a dining res at 4:45!

Got Garden Grill on 12/15 at 4:15 for the 6:45pm!!!

I contacted BW IPO a few minutes ago to find out if DP was still being accepted this year for CP and they told me it was. I guess the WDW website is just lacking lots of info right now.

On the main cp page it said dp accepted but when I booked via napoli it said it is not on dp. My email confirmation says the same thing and I was logged in using my resort confirmation number. I checked a couple others and they showed up as being on the dp. So I am wondering if they are not going to allow the dp to be used at via napoli for the cp package.

Ray - did I read your post correctly? Will you be there anytime between Nov. 26- Dec. 1st. Dh and i are leaving Dec. 2nd early. If you will be there then, let me know. Maybe we can plan a meal together.

I did try to go through the steps to book on line. It was easy peasy. Funny though, that 2 hours after I booked the CP package with the cm then online there was nothing in the restaurant for a party of 2 for the cp package the whole rest of the night. So it appears to be going quickly. Maybe for more popular narrarators and smaller party size (2 of us?)

Yes, you will be able to use the dining plan at Via Napoli for the package - 2 credits. The website is just wrong when it says Via Napoli is not on the dining plan.

Remember if you're trying for Le Cellier that they only do lunch packages, so your only show option will be the 5 PM show.
