UPDATE Michael Jackson rushed to the hospital (He Has Died)

They always say deaths happen in threes.

Nice. Is that really necessary. I don't believe he was ever convicted of anything. He's a wierd guy, but I never felt I could believe all those parasites that hung off him and then claimed her hurt their children. Either way, the guy may die. I don't think it's necessary to make snarky remarks about him.

I couldn't agree more. He wasn't convicted, and that infamous case with the sick kid and the scamming mother was pathetic. He was innocent in that case! The mother was proven to have been involved in one money making scam after the other. MJ is a very easy target. He's been in the company of thousands of kids. Frankly, I find it amazing that only a few made such accusations because he really is an easy target for making an easy few million dollars. I agree with you...weird, definitely. Child molester? Maybe, I have no idea. But there's been no proof, and I am of the mind that if he is a child molester, there would have been hundreds of victims. I seriously doubt it to be honest, and I'm not saying this because I'm some huge fan. I just believe in the American way; innocent until proven guilty.

Funny, I've been told I'm not patriotic because I don't support the Iraq war or the last administration. But yet I believe in the foundations laid by our forefathers and I believe in our justice system. Even if it is occsaionally wrong and a "bad guy" may go free, it a greater wrong to be judge, jury, and executioner based on a "feeling." Those who laid the foundations of our country's constitution, thank God, knew that.

I never thought he did the things that he was accussed of and he was never convicted either.
I did. And OJ wasn't convicted either.

While I won't waste my time thinking badly of him now, I won't waste my time thinking of him at all. Prayers for his family tho.

They reported that his father said he is not doing well. The rest of his family is rushing to UCLA Medical Center to be with him.

I just heard that too. The news said he wasn't breathing when the ambulance arrived at the house and someone there was doing CPR on him.

Someone posted that he overdosed on sleeping pills and died on this story's comments section on TMZ. Where did THAT come from? Has anyone else seen this anywhere else?

Now "someone" who works at the UCLA hospital just posted that MJ died 23 minutes ago. (If true, that's highly improper and illegal.) Again, it's tough to verify anything, especially in this age of instant information. So much information and disinformation is flying around.

I don't think I'd go so far as to say I am rejoicing... that's a bit much to draw from my post I think.

I do not feel bad for him, nor do I feel badly that I do not feel bad.

Sometimes bad things just happen, and sometimes it's Karma IMO. Everyone has a mother, that's how we get here. That fact doesn't mean everyone deserves my sympathy.

My comment wasn't meant to be classy. It is my visceral response to an ugly thing.[/QUOTE]
I didn't mean you have to feel sorry for him- I however, do feel sorry for the people who love and care for him and are so worried right now.

I read that too but didnt want to post it until i was 100% sure. But that seems to be the story coming from the news now.

I don't know. I don't think 51 is too young for a heart attack. I'm sure my dad was younger than that.

I hate to be skeptical but he is known to be a 'drama queen' and pull these medical stunts when things aren't going his way. There has been more than one "rushed to the hospital" incident over the years. I know it happened before testifying in court.

So far it is all just rumor. So we'll see.

Sympathy isn't necessary. It also isn't necessary to make ugly remarks about someone in trouble. Unless you have proof that he did something bad, maybe it is better not to make any statement, if it can only be an ugly statement.

Personally, I am very sad to hear that Michael is ill. I can't tell you how many hours of enjoyment he has given me over the years with his amazing music and dance. I am praying that he pulls through.

Doubtful

I saw that too. Apparent suicide. I think one of the British tabloids is reporting that.

Death (especially celebrity death) always comes in 3s.

That is horrible if someone did that. They need to lose there job

I am neither a judge nor jury. I am not obligated in any way shape or form to accept whatever is found by our judicial system as TRUTH, I am merely expected to not go vigilante.

Ever notice how Justice is blind, it is because she finds her judgment based upon logic, not necessarily truth.... they are not the same thing.

I never bought the molestation stuff that was going on. But I do think he had an incredibly tragic life mentally if that makes sense.

I think, at a very early age, he was in show business and saw a lot of stuff with his older brothers that really scarred him emotionally. It was almost as if he was sexually abused by witnessing some of the antics of his older brothers on the road. I think he just went into some weird, private world of his own and never fully became a mature adult. I really do believe he mentally got stuck in some kid world which is why he spent so much time with them. I think sexually he was fairly non-functioning. Period.

Of course, this all speculation on my part.;) But I have always felt bad for him because I think he lives in some awful personal hell.
