The last time we stayed at CBR was back in 1999. We bought DVC in 2001 so all of our stays have been DVC related. However we have one night - non park day planned for CBR for the end of June. We have a standard view 5th sleeper room. I know this will be in Aruba or Jamaica. I am pretty sure we stayed in Jamaica back in 1999 and liked it just fine.

I also know that with covid things have changed all over WDW. We are now a family of 4 adults. Can you suggest things for us to do at the resort that my late 20's and early 30's daughters may enjoy? Also - suggestions for room request/buildings?

Basically - just update me on the resort. It has been a sleep or two.

It’s been largely renovated fairly recently and to me feels like a totally different resort from our first visit in 2017. We love Banana Cabana which is an open air bar near the pool. The island it the middle of the lake is also fun with lots of places to sit and enjoy the water. Riviera is walkable from CBR and worth a visit; their food options are wonderful. There’s a large beach area with outdoor furniture for relaxing on. Skyliner is also a major bonus.
