I posted a couple weeks ago about my son having a tough time getting his run time within the Army limits. He called today finally and has testing tomorrow. His back strain is better and he has been working out hard. He has such a poor feeling about this as he has been struggling for so many months. He excelled at his "soldiering" and all the class work. He was often asked to help the others with many of the skills. I know he wants this so badly.

We could use lots of prayer, good thoughts and Pixie Dust from anyone who has some to spare.

Thanks again for the help.

I will add your son to my prayers. I know that he's had a tough time in the military. It sounds like he's made great strides in the past half year. Continued good wishes for his success.

Cordia, I will keep your son in my prayers! I hope all goes well for him... let us know how he does :)

Cordia, I will be praying for your son. {{{{HUGS}}}} to you, too.

I wish him lots of luck. I hope he makes it. :D

Good wishes for your boy, Cordia, he will sure be remembered in my prayers. I bet he does it!!!!!

Being in the army and going through that I understand. Will think and pray for him.

As a former Army soldier myself and now a VERY PROUD Army wife, I completely understand and sympathize with your DS. Physical Training is extremely tough and requires alot of "mind over matter" :D I know my DH has had ALOT of problems lately with his back and shins and it takes all he has to continue to do well running, lol.
Tell your DS to keep his head held high and strive to do the best he can. I guarantee he will make the 2 mile in the alloted time ;)

He's gonna make it !!!! YAY!!!!

He is going to be a fine soldier!!!

Prayers said and sent.

Keeping him in my thoughts.

I'll keep him in my prayers! Lots of luck going his way. Let us know how he did.

Bless your son, prayers and pixie dust to all of you,i pray he makes it!

Prayers and pixiedust coming to you and your ds.

My sister had the hardest time in Basic Training with the wall climb and the hanging thing... (looks like a jungle gym).

I know she said she did her best and that was all she could do. I do remember she said she had to work "extra hours" or something like that, to get it within time.

hope it goes well

Thanks for all your help folks. I just wanted to clarify that he has done very well in all his other training. He said he has an "excellent" in marksmenship and that kind of stuff. He didn't blow any body parts, his or anyone elses', off with grenades and the like. I just love hearing all the dangerous things they get to do. He really will be a great soldier after he gets over this hurdle.

I will let you all know when I hear anything.

Thanks again.

Being an Army Mom, I can very well relate to how we worry, pray and hope the best for our courageous soliders.
I will pray his 'guardian angel' carries him through. She/ he has carried my son through many struggles throughout his military career. Please thank your son for serving and protecting our country. HOOAH!!

Keep the faith ^i^
