one of my friends has a daughter that went to a birthday party that involved a limo ride. The girls, 2nd grade, were picked up at school in the limo and brought to a salon where they had manis and pedis.
at the school...yikes..that is really not cool...talk about showy...
Sounds like it might be the same company...was the limo pink???
Can you imagine the poor girls that didn't get to go?I don't know, but my friend told me that only 6 girls in the class were invitedCan you imagine the poor girls that didn't get to go?
Of course......Why not...
but DD will have to settle for a simpler party... LOL roller skating or such...
Sounds like a spoiled brat to me.
I've never been in a limo and I'm 20. Wth.

I didn't know if you thought it was inappropriate for your dd to go (age wise).
Maybe for your 45th birthday, you can have a Sweet & Sassy party!I am 44 and never been in a limo.
I have seen the "Sweet and Sassy" limo in Highland Village TX. It is PINK!

I admit it seems very over the top to me for a six year old's party. But that would just never happen in my area. We are more of a roller skating/bowling type of town.
We're a homemade birthday party at home family, so I think alot of the destination parties are a bit much. I let DD go if invited and just don't even worry about trying to keep up.
I would not have sent her in a limo at 6 though. Don't most states still require kids to be in car/booster seats? At any rate, I would draw the line there. (And would be very unpopular with DD as well...)
