Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

What a fantastic TR! I have so very much enjoyed traveling along with your beautiful family. It sounds like you had a great time and you captured so many terrific pictures (which are already in gorgeous scrapbooks! :worship: )

10 days 'til Luke arrives. As others have said, please keep us posted and treat us to pictures!

Thanks for reading along!

I feel you on this one! We had originally planned an Oct. trip but moved it up to May when we found out we were due in Sept. Just think, you had great weather for your trip, if you were going now, the same might not be the case with Fay.

Yes... that hurricane would have worried me like crazy.... I have a friend going Wednesday, so hopefully she will be after all the rain and mess!

I loved your final thoughts! It is always interesting to hear what tidbits made others trips wonderful!

Now for my thoughts on the two resorts (I told you I likes one over the other). .. My favorite of the two is POFQ. My reasons are: I feel it is smaller and easier to get around, nice quiet food court and most importantly THE BUSSES! You get picked up first, before all 5 POR resort bus stops, which pretty much guarantees you a seat. I remember our bus filling at POFQ and then the bus would go straight to the park. When we were at POR the busses would often come from POFQ almost full, fill to overflowing at the first stop, then try to drive around to all of the other 5 stops at POR, before heading to the parks. :headache:

Now I couldn't tell which you liked more. You mentioned probably going back to POR because you will soon be a family of 5... but do you like it better there?

I like the POR pool, gift store, and theming better, but I totally agree I would pick POFQ for the small size and bus situation. We are not ones who drive to the park... so I rely on the buses. Plus it will be a long time until we have kids who can handle standing on the bus! My dh still remarks how great our room location was.

Mind you I would love to try CSR.... but the size scares me! Plus the food court surcharge I just do not get!

Maybe... that would be fun, although I think that there are other adult dining options I would try first!

We've been to most of them so I'll be happy to give you my opinion! ;)

Can't wait to see some baby pictures!

So the big fairy and pirate party was today. 11 kids total, couning my two. We ranged from 2-7, which is a wide range, but all was fun. The cake was darling, a Tinkerbell one! We played Pin the treasure chest on the X, did pirate crafts (Michaels had these cute wooden pirate sets for Halloween that we painted) or necklaces for the ladies who did both for the most part! The hit though was the big treasure hunt. DH did a great job with the clues and we had three teams. One team was the little tikes... not far to travel clues with my mom, and then the other two did clues that even took them a little ways! Once everyone got their last clue we all joined our final clues together to read the last clue to find the treasure chest! Fun fun fun for all. Dinner was simple... hotdogs, fruit, chip/pretzels, macaroni and cheese, and strawberry jello salad (Hannah is in love with that right now). Hannah's actual birthday is Wednesday.... but it worked better to do a weekend party. Now I just need to scrapbook it- ha ha and I will be all caught up before Luke arrives! I'll post some party pictures soon... just of my kids though!

I am hoping for a summer of 2010 trip, hopefully in August again and staying at the WL. I am pretty sure my parents will join us for a bit of the trip... I know they would love to see the girls in all their WDW glory. I want to for sure go before Luke needs a park ticket or needs to buy meals at the TS restaurants. I think at almost 2, 4.5 and almost 7 would make for fun ages to see WDW!

Meanwhile I will keep reading all the fantastic trip reports on DIS and keeping up to date with all the WDW happenings!

Thanks for the great report! I enjoyed seeing your sweet girls. I know they will be big helpers when they get to take their baby brother back on the next trip. They'll be telling him how fun everything is going to be, I'm sure! And the grandparents will be a big help. They'll be in heaven watching all those little ones have such a great time! (And before he needs a ticket = good planning!)

I'm with your husband on Wilderness Lodge - it is a beautiful resort that I hope to be able to stay at someday, at least for part of a trip. It would be kind of a bummer to think you could be waking up there this week, but that thrill is nothing like having Luke here, so I'm sure your sadness is going to disappear in a very few days! :)

I hope you will keep hanging around all the trip reports to feed your Disney fix. You'll need some "Disney take me away" time for yourself at the end of a busy day with three little ones! We've got one trip to finish and a couple more on the horizon, so peek in on us when you can. Jill's going to be taking a Disney break from the November trip to the July trip, too, to add a new member of the family. We'll be taking him/her as a three month old, though, so tune in to see how that turns out! We'll all be pitching in to help, and it will have to be a very relaxed vacation for her sake.

I'm glad your party turned out so nicely. I know the pictures will just be so cute. Your girls are lucky to have such a sweet mommy.

The best of everything to you in the next few days ahead as you prepare for Luke and then bring him home to be a part of your family. We'll keep a close eye on updates from you. I look forward to seeing him!

How fun!! It sounds like everyone had a good time. Can't wait to see the pics!

Thanks MeMom! Your report always provides so many awesome pictures. I will love hearing about your trip next summer with a 3 month old! At one point we considered not going in June and going this fall, but realized going with me pregnant still probably made for a better trip for the girls.

The party sounds like a blast! Can't wait to see pictures!

It was lots of fun... and I was not too terribly tired afterwards! There was so much energy and excitement!

The party sounded great!!

It was fun! The birthday girl with all her friends!

It was a very fun time!

Sounds like a great party. I'm sure the pics are really cute!

Coming soon!

Sounds like a great party can't wait for pics. 9 MORE DAYS AND LUKE ARRIVES:woohoo:

Woo hoo!! 8 days until Luke's due date! What an exciting time for your family.

That party sounds awesome and a great way to divide up all the fun and games. I can't wait until you have pictures to share -- both of the party and of Luke.

Summer of '10 doesn't sound too far away. Em will have a blast being a "big kid" on that adventure. I am sure she'll be pushing Hannah to ride all the big stuff!

Fun party and will you post the scrap pages? I am so impressed that you are up to date! You rock!

How are you and Luke doing? Anything "happening" this time, which would make you go earlier than the big day?

Great party! I hope you are hanging in there! Best wishes to you and your family!:goodvibes

My patience is shot....my poor girls. I just hope to be better tomorrow for the birthday girl.

'10 will probably be here sooner than I like. I hate to think this is Hannah's last year before school everyday!

I ran my last big set of errands today... just getting the stuff I will need the next couple weeks... and of course I did not have my camera to print the darn pictures with. I have ambitions of scrapping her birthday this next week... we will see if it happens. I need to check and see if my neighbor has any I have to have... she took some pictures too!

Okay Mates! Here are some pictures of the party!

Em must have been mistaken... we were having a fairy and pirate party, not a princess and pirate party!

Yes Hannah could see... as could her two best buddies!
