Sorry that your server wasn't too hot at Ohana. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but after our last visit we decided to give it a break for awhile.
They were quite entertaining on the bus ride....Emily has really gotten into facial expressions of late. She always has something to say and a face to match it.
As for O'Hana's... good food does not excuse terrible service. I am not sure if we would go there next trip...but since next trip is ???? I'm just not sure.
I am sorry you had one bad thing after another happen at dinner! It always seems that is how it happens! I would have been furious at that server!

I can stand bad service... the stinky bathroom was more upsetting, especially since Chef Mickey's attempted to get right to cleaning theirs and they Poly didn't hop on it. I know it is hot.... and people get sick- but keep the restrooms clean!
I do have to say... that was the worst part of our trip, so I can handle it.... the girls (espec. Hannah) and dh had a great time... so I took one for the team.

Sorry to hear about the bad experience. I thought about going there, but most of the reviews I had read recently weren't too great. Too many people "use" to love it. Hope the tip fit the service!

The bread was wonderful... and the food we really liked. The entertainment is fun too... my girls loved getting up and being part of the dinner show!

O'Hana's... I think you just turned me away from that place, it sounds horrible what happened!
Yes... Em is just like Hannah was- get right in front block the way and demand to be carried. Luckily Hannah grew out of it...Em will too.
O'Hana's is not bad... I just had a bad experience I want to think.

. My dh and I stayed at the Poly. for the first in Oct. for our 10th Anniversary
. We could not wait we love to go to O'hana's and the Tambu lounge and Kona cafe. We just love it we always wanted to stay there. Well we did the boys stayed home with grandparents
. Just us what a dream come true so I thought Poly. what could go wrong? My dream was crushed Poly. is not worth the money
. We have stayed at the Boardwalk and the Beach Club and would stay there again anytime
. When you pay over $300.00 a night I would like some service not banging and drilling out side our room
. O'hana was a favorite but over the years the service and food have changed . The Luau has even changed the food for that could be better. Sorry to go on about this back to something better your girls they are so cute Em is the best with the foodie pictures a girl who knows what see wants and takes it. My ds8 and ds2 are really enjoying this report we are all hooked can't wait for Epcot both my boy love this park
Thanks for reading along... I still would love to stay at the Poly... someday maybe. But when it comes down to it... I would take the Beach Club in a heartbeat- love love love the pool area!

I am so sorry that you had a less than magical time at O'Hana's! Sounds like it was one of those nights when NOTHING went right -- Em's mood, the horrible bathroom, bad service. I think it makes it worse when it's at Disney because you expect so much better!
I hope the Epcot day goes smoother!
It was not the Disney magic.... I am sure the hormones made me feel even more upset about it too!

i had a bad experience with ohana's too and i think i'm the only person the disboards that doesn't like it. it wasn't awful - just didn't live up to the hype in my opinion. i loved the salad, the wonton chips and dips and the potatoes. the meat was really gross and dry the night i was there and everything else was just so-so. i'll probably try it again someday though!

I knew you were not an O'Hana's fan.... I am sure we will be back, but it is not an everytrip place for me, despite the fact we had good food.

I feel so bad that I was rude to you.... I just wanted to get back to the hotel and get out of that place.... that meal just seemed like a lot of work to me... work to get decent service, work to go the restroom, work to get Em to cooperate! I wanted to just eat.... like I ate my oreo at the pool earlier in the day!
I just hope it's his day off or he has found employment elsewhere....
