Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

great update!!! i just love shopping. the picture of hannah kissing pluto is just precious!!! and you are not a pig - you're eating for two and some day i plan on eating like that, too! enjoy it! ;)

Wow! You really got some amazing photos! Your girls are adorable and you are a talented photog... you capture just the right moments. LOVE the pictures of them w/ their furry hats!!

PS- You're pregnant and on vacation... you're supposed to finish the oreo in one sitting!!!!!

I'd love to see video of Hannah making her crown. I can just picture her making all of her choices. So sweet!

Those water jets are wonderful. While Jill and MeMom shop, someone (John) can be letting Brooklynn play in those. :) Splendid plan in so many ways. No baby to take things off shelves. No man to get bored and grumpy. :thumbsup2

Your pictures are wonderful. I know you had a great time. We will be there TOMORROW!!! We might be just a little bit excited about that.

Ohanas is our favorite TS...can't wait to hear how it might not have been that great for you! :confused3

Great update! I love seeing all of your pictures. Your day sounds so relaxing and nice! We don't get many of those days when we are at Disney, so I am jealous!

What a fun day! We had a day like that when we went in '07 and we really missed it on our last trip. Our DD loves the water sprinklers as well.

I also have to agree with your DH, I love Earl of Sandwich. That is a must for me!

Great update, sorry to say I think our Ohana experiences were a little different, anxious to hear how yours went tho. Again your girls are just too cute for words!

Great update! That one pic of Emily in the chipmunk hat -- too cute! She totally has your eyes!!!

Like others have said, you were supposed to eat the Oreo cookie in one sitting since you are eating for two and on vacation! If not then, when can you???

Soooooooo Cute!! I LOVE the picture of Hannah posing in her bathing suit! The one of Emily all crouched down and looking up is ADORABLE! They look like they had so much fun in the sprinkler things!:thumbsup2 Can't wait for more!:goodvibes

Wow, Em has amazing eyes and lashes. Is it wrong that I am jealous of a baby? :lmao:

Looks like the girls has fun shopping at DTD. That make a crown is a great idea for little girls!

Too bad about the Mickey American flag.

She has great eyelashes.... and a cute face. Emily enjoys a true smile for the camera... Hannah is harder to get a real smile from.

I got the Mickey Flag when I went back... another CM found them in the back. It pays to ask again... or see where else has them. We are ready to fly it this week for the 4th!

I can't wait to read about O'Hana's. Again the girls are both so cute.

Thanks we think they are pretty cute too!

I could spend weeks in the World of Disney store... I spent more time again later... I was in the bathroom when she kissed Pluto- big surprise, and was so happy to see the picture. DH takes a lot less pics than me!

The oreo was absolute heaven....I wish I had one right now to eat!

Great update, love all the pictures

Thanks so much...

Thanks I think that they are getting harder to catch... they move fast... and I am a bit slow right now! I almost would have bought those darn hats, I think they are so cute. I do not have hat wearers though!

She so had a hard time picking her crown items out... DH about killed her. I limited the expensive charms... and we had to pick our favorites to get on the crown.
I hope your trip is magical!

Ohanas is our favorite TS...can't wait to hear how it might not have been that great for you! :confused3

I like O'Hana's DH and Hannah love it. Em had fun too.... but there was just some bad service and lack of cleaning!

I am sure that down days will always be part of our trips. I would like to get a longer pass and then try some shorter park days... mornings, nights, not long days. However DH loves no park days.... and if that is what it takes to go, I am going to comply. Sprinklers are a must for the girls... they have so much fun. I totally wish MGM and AK had some for kids- much needed IMO!

Earl of Sandwich is good, I really like Wolfgang Puck Express too. My salad was gone in record time... I was hungry that day for lunch!

I knew we had to relax this trip so I would survive... and I barely did that night!

Great update, sorry to say I think our Ohana experiences were a little different, anxious to hear how yours went tho. Again your girls are just too cute for words!

Thank you... I wish we could have chatted... I was just out of it!

Yes... the many colored eyes. Hannah's are really dark brown... Em and I change via what we wear. She had the best blue eyes for the first 9 months... so pretty.

I would love an oreo like that everyday.... I just wish I could find the large ones in general!

They are the water girls of the world. So fun to swim and splash with this summer!

Loving the TR! Your girls are just way too cute.....
Please, please continue with the Ohana story, we have ressies in 2 weeks, do we need to request a certain server or be prepared to do some cleaning??lol:faint:

Lovely day and the water photos of the girls are so cute, it looks like they had tons of fun :goodvibes

That Oreo sounds too good!!! BUT, I sense a bit of brooding foreshadowing of BAD things to come for you!! Poor baby!! Great installment! Jen

Hopefully later will be the O'Hana report...

Me too!!! Maybe we should ask Oreo to do that! :goodvibes

Those would be wonderful!

I think for sure the hormones were really kicking in this evening!

They love water... and fountains are a treat. I will get a photo of the flag... it is outside hanging right now!

We found a sleeping Emily and daddy when we returned and so we started to get ready before they awoke. We were ready at about 5:15 and headed out to catch the bus to MK. I wanted to take the boat onto the Poly... but I was outvoted, so the monorail again! We were super excited to be going to O'Hana's... we had not been there last August and were excited to partake in all the fun... plus I love to explore the Poly and so hope to stay there someday!

We arrived and checked in with plenty of time to spare... so Hannah and I went to the gift shop. Should we get this for our brother?

101_0247-1.jpg

Then dh wanted a picture in the lobby with the girls.... this should have let me know that Emily was in a bit of a mood...

So Hannah needed to go to the bathroom.... and we went in the one by O'Hana's (somewhat in lobby... but certainly the restroom closest to the restaurant) and guess what- someone had gotten sick again in there.... I just held my breath and let her go....yuck yuck yuck!

We were seated about on time... around 6:35, near the front of the restaurant, with a view of the castle. Emily though wanted nothing to do with sitting down.

She wanted a booster seat... so when our server came we told him.... but it never came... so dh went and got it.

We ordered our drinks, ice tea, two sprites and a diet.... and waited and waited.... I also ordered a kid's dinner of chicken fingers. I was afraid Hannah would not touch the other food....

Emily then showed a not so nice side.... no bread for us.

101_0258.jpg

We had a hard time getting more bread, and Hannah was getting mad that Em had it all, and well Em was in no mood to cooperate... once again Newton, our server was a no show...and then would bring out hot food and put it in front of Emily- duh!

As for the food'... it was very good. Hannah so loved the Pork Dumplings... she actually ate 4 of them. I never could have guessed she would like them, in fact the kids food that I ordered was what Emily ate. I thought Em would enjoy the big people food, but not tonight. She was not in the mood.

Mixed greens with a honey-lime dressing-- I think that is one of the most refreshing salads!

Honey-coriander chicken wings - love the wings... sticky but yummy
Noodles - Hannah loved them too
Stir-fried vegetables - The brocoli was good!

I used the sauces on whatever skewer meat I wanted to !

All the skewers were great... hannah ate a ton of chicken and steak.... DH really loved it too.

Early in the meal they learned how to hula dance!

101_0274.jpg

Em again.. no cooperation- not like her:confused3 I guess that is why she is two years old, sometimes hard to figure out!

I also went to the restroom... guess what- it still stunk in there. At this point it was almost 8:30- two hours after my orginal trip to the restroom. It still smelled like someone got sick. So I went to the hostess desk to report this- and they said I was the first one to tell them- I have a hard time believing this... and they said they would take care of it. By this time I was starting to feel sick- I cannot take that smell....so back to the table I went. I needed some water... but of course I had nothing to drink because we did not get refills or well service. DH was actually eating food using his fork as Newton took away his plate from under him- no joking!... that ticked me off. I understand they are busy.... but come on, don't rush us. It took a long time for Em to get together enough to sit and eat and DH was trying to help get her in her seat. There is no room in my lap for her to eat on it right now!

Then as dessert was served they chased the coconuts... and I met AMC- Annette...but by this point I was had... a terrible two year old....a stinky restroom and a terrible server. I just wanted out of there!

101_0277-1.jpg

As they chased the coconuts... the bill- we were charged for two kids-:scared1: mind you our table card said, one child, one infant, two adults. So I had to wait to have him fix it.....and as we finally left I asked a lady leaving the restroom if it "smelled" and it still did... this was a good twenty-thirty minutes after I had told the hostess- come on POLY- this is an expensive hotel and a busy restaurant.

So I sought out another restroom before we hit the monorail! I also stopped at the front desk to express my disappointment in the restroom mess. I did not want anything... I just wanted it cleaned up!

As we got off the monorail... we took a quick picture

101_0287-1.jpg

and the went to catch a bus... which was there right away!

The girls were in great moods now.... having some fun!

101_0288.jpg

101_0289.jpg

101_0290-1.jpg

And our ever present mean face...

101_0291-1.jpg

We headed to bed... mom was exhausted.

101_0294.jpg

The Em pose of the week... dead stopped in front- carry me!

101_0293-1.jpg

So as for O'Hana's the food was great, the service terrible (Newton was just terrible, the others tried to make it better... but it was hard to get past watching my dh's plate taken out from under him while he was eating) and Emily was just not in the mood to eat and sit. She is 99.5% of the time good, we hit a bad night! Luckily... that was my last bad bathroom encounter... I doubt I could have taken any more stinky bathrooms. I expect them in the parks... not the deluxe hotels! The park ones... OT- I thought they smelled great... they use good airfreshners and have someone cleaning them all the time.

Up next: EPCOT- would mom be too tired to get up for rope drop? Would EPCOT still be a park Hannah loved? World Showcase with a two year old? Is EPCOT the place to see the characters?

I love those silly kid faces!!!

Sorry that your server wasn't too hot at Ohana. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but after our last visit we decided to give it a break for awhile.

I am sorry you had one bad thing after another happen at dinner! It always seems that is how it happens! I would have been furious at that server! I LOVE the pic. of Emily shoving the bread in her face:thumbsup2 The ones of the girls on the bus are to cute too!:goodvibes Looking forward to more!popcorn::
