Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

I have definitely heard mixed reviews about Chef Mickey's. We want to go for the whole experience of seeing the main guys, and trying out that sundae bar. :thumbsup2

I think you are going for the right reasons....years ago during our honeymoon we ate at Chef Mickey's and had some good food, but I think last trip just was not as good. However I love the atmosphere!

That's why I didn't book Chef Mickey's this trip. I did LTT instead to see the "main guys". I have heard mixed reviews of that also, but thought I would try it.

LTT- that would have about the same "guys". We went there once... it was fun, but my company (in laws made it miserable- I'm afraid to show up there again!)

I called WDW dining for the zillionth time today. We tried to once again move Chef Mickeys... an earlier time on Friday night to no avail. I know it would be a huge luck if we can get an earlier ADR. We will see! I also confirmed the other ADRs to make sure I had the right times and ADR #s. I also wanted to make sure I can cancel the Norway Princess dinner still on Saturday if we see Snow White at the Castle on Saturday lunch. As long as I cancel before 6:15 I am good. I think we could be really happy just eating counter service at EPCOT.

While I know there is no guarantee that Snow White will be at either... I sure know we want to see her at one of the meals.

Meanwhile I am gathering stuff in the baby's room... snacks, sunscreen, swim belts to start getting things together because next month I am headed to WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday June 7th

Today we hit Magic Kingdom... my favorite park! Just walking down Main Street gets me so excited.

Me too! I love Magic Kingdom.

Yes we love our spray fans!
We love ours too! I would have been so upset if I hadn't read that tip on the Dis before our last trip!

Here is a list of what we hope to accomplish over the two days:

Must Do:

I know they are not in order... I will follow TGM's MK plans again! His plans really worked well for us!

Walt Disney World Railroad
Aladdin Magic Carpets
Jungle Cruise ( Hannah really loved this, we did it the last night of our trip and she wanted to ride it again... so I hope to get it in twice)
Splash Mountain (Not me:confused: )
Big Thunder Mountain (Not me:confused: )
Tom Sawyer Island (Haven't been there in a long time!)
The Haunted Mansion (Closed last year....not sure if the girls will be ready for this!)
Mickey’s Philharmagic (Twice hopefully)
It’s a Small World ( I hate to think of the times we will ride this... both girls love it)
Peter Pan’s Flight (FP away)
Carrousel
Dumbo (Just once... first ride hopefully)
Snow White’s Scary Adventure (not sure if I will try Em)
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Mad Tea Party ( I think this is out for pregnant ladies)
Ariel’s Grotto (we met Ariel first thing when she opened... worked wonderful!)
Belle Storytime (if we can stand the heat!)
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway ( I can't do this either... so daddy will have to do it twice)
Astro Orbiter (Closed last trip)
Buzz Lightyear (Hannah loved it... Em not so much)
Monster's Inc. Comedy (Hannah and I did... DH did not get to try it)
Tomorrowland Transit Authority (great for relaxing)
Barnstormer (DH and Hannah) and Toontown exploring... including Donald's boat... a nice refreshing spot!

Might try
Country Bear Jamboree (It has been years...)
Carousel of Progress - I love this....
Hall of Presidents DH loves this...

Looks good! Jungle Cruise will be closed when we are there. :( We loved it last time. I'm worried about Haunted Mansion as well. We skipped it last year after she freaked out on Pirates. She did fine in Snow White though, so who knows!

Your trip is coming up so fast! You are already ahead of me in packing and we leave in 14 days!!

Wow, Great pictures of the girls! How wonderful that Hannah got to ride with Mary Poppins on her birthday!:thumbsup2 Your plans look great! I agree Chef Mickey's is a great experience and that's why you go not for the food, although the breakfast is great! Good plan letting the pregnant lady check in!:rotfl2:

Me too! Me too! :cheer2:

Today I thought about how you said it would be really neat on Thursday to say, "I'm going to WDW next month." And today, Thursday, it was really neat to keep reminding myself and my family that "we're going to WDW next month!"

The Magic Kingdom plans look great! :thumbsup2

You better get packin'- just kidding... I am trying to get ahead, since I will be working that Thursday and leave the next day. I am also trying to do things so that Hannah does not notice...plus the end of the school year is wild!

Loving your report! Glad you are back. I do want to do Chef Mickey's for breakfast sometime... we are not big breakfast people though.

So far so good!! Everything sounds great and you have a beautiful family, Subbing popcorn::

Thanks for joining!

Thanks! I am getting super excited!

Today I got a few more items on my list... shampoo, band aids and body wash for the girls. I did not get sample size in their stuff.... it does not take that much room.

I do have a ???? is the tolietries the same at all resorts now? I loved the stuff last Aug. at the WL.... and hope to just use that and leave my stuff at home!

Last October at POFQ they gave us an all in one Shampoo/Conditioner and two bars of soap, and a lotion in blue bottles with Mickey on the front.

In November, we got two completely different things at CSR--our first hotel--and SSR--our second hotel. We got the old traditional Mickey stuff in the black boxes/bottles at CSR, and then we got stuff from the Aquatics Disney line at SSR--separate shampoo (creamy blue), conditioner (white), shower gel (clear blue), and lotion (white, but in a aqua blue bottle). So WHO KNOWS!?!?!?!? Maybe try to find someone who is just getting back and ask them! GOSH, we are toooooooooooo close for words right now! My official 30-day Disney countdown is about to go up! Yeah for us! Jen

We got the aquatics line at CSR in April.

I am still trying to figure this out! I posted on TGM and on the resort thread... I think that I remember all are Aquatics line now... which I so love!

A picture of my packing stuff to come... and another day of garage sale tomorrow morning!
(New Location.... same stuff)

Is your fan a Walmart fan? I think I have some like that at Walmart. Please tell me how they work -- do your children carry them around their necks? Are they heavy? Do they work?

Good Luck with the garage sale tomorrow!!! Here's a little rain dance to keep the RAIN AWAY!!! :cool1: :worship: :rotfl:  :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: I hope you have a great one! Jen

Yes they are from Wal-Mart we used them last year... manly just one and they were great. I have a feeling both girls will care to have them this year. Batteries go in the fan part and then water in the "tank". Much cheaper than WDW!

It was a much better garage sale day... I sold tons of little girl stuff! So more money for WDW- actually I will go and get going on outside landscaping this afternoon!

June 8th-Sunday Plans
We will hopefully sleep in.... ha ha. Our girls don't do that well lately! I think that morning we will head to DTD and do some shopping and hit our favorite fountains for a quick "swim". DH and I normally take turns shopping/ while the other watches the bathing beauties. Lunch will probably also occur there at the Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express. Hopefully we can take the boat, or bus is fine.

The only "plan" is a 6:35 O"Hana's resie for dinner... so some swim time and rest time will also happen in the afternoon. Then a good night's sleep because we will be back at a Park on Monday- EPCOT.

Hopefully you will be able to take the boat. We didn't have any problems with it when we were there. DD really like it too.

We did the same thing switching off while DD "swam" at DTD. It is fun just watching them.

Sounds like a fun, yet relaxing day.

We had no problems grabbing the boat from POFQ to DTD. The boys really enjoyed being on the water. Those lunch options sound yummy! We never got to Ohana's but the menu sure looks good!

I know that in the AM the boat runs less frequently.. or at least is used to. The girls still talk about their fountain fun!

I love taking the boat to DTD- such a fun ride!

We really didn't have any issues with the boat during the day or at night. Maybe we just had good timing. :)
