Well, we're almost exactly at the 4 month mark! It seems like it's still a long way off, but at the same time it feels like just yesterday I was beginning to plan everything!
I don't think I told you all yet but about 3 weeks ago, I started Weight Watchers again. I did it in the beginning of 2012 and I lost about 20lbs between February - October. Then, of course, we went to Disney in October and I fell off the bandwagon and have been having a hard time getting back on. So I joined WW again and have lost 2.5lbs so far. I'm not expecting a miracle before our trip in July but if I can lost 1lb a week until then that will be a total of 18.5lbs lost and THAT will make me happy.
In other news....Lumar and I went to Rainforest Cafe on Tuesday for his birthday (RFC reminds us of being in WDW so we go there to celebrate our birthdays

). The restaurant is inside the mall so while we were there we visited the
Disney Store. For those that don't know, Lumar and I are obsessed with Pin Trading. So when Vinylmations came out, we vowed to NOT get into it because Pin Trading is expensive enough as it is. Well then, Disney had to screw up and make a Lion King Vinylmation set. So I just HAD to buy a couple and that got me hooked. I don't feel the need to collect entire sets, thankfully...except of course for The Lion King which sold for all of a week and then went away so I only have 2 from that set.... but other than that, I just usually want specific ones.
These are the ones we have so far:
When we went the other night, we got one that is a duplicate and one we just didn't want so we're going to trade them in WDW in July.
So much for not getting into Vinylmations, huh?
Moving right along.... My cousin Toni bought the park tickets for herself and her fiance, Josh, yesterday! And both my brother and sister have paid me for what they owed on their OKW rooms. Tomorrow, I'll be picking up money from my brother and my cousin Tommy for their airfare and their park tickets. My sister is going to wait to order her park tickets. She doesn't want to buy them until she knows for sure that she has passed the bar exam, and she won't know that until April.
She and her BF Rob also decided that they are going to go to WWoHP one day during our trip. Since this is probably the only vacation they will have for a long while, they want to get in as much stuff as possible. They actually went down to Florida last spring for a few days and did a few hours at Epcot, so they are going to go to WWoHP on our 2nd Epcot day, and then meet us back at Epcot for dinner.
Oh! And not to end on a bad note or anything...but after 2.5 years of talking about it, I have officially been laid off from my job. Last Friday was my last day so I've been unemployed for a week now. I didn't think it was bothering me but I guess that subconsciously I was really freaking out. I didn't sleep well for a few days and my face started breaking out like crazy (I'll be 30 at the end of this year...I'm a little old for that!!)....BUT, I got my letter from the Dept of Labor that tells me what I'll be making on unemployment and it's actually MORE than what I was bringing home while working! My paychecks from work were deducting money for my benefits and my 401(k) where my unemployment will JUST be taking out taxes. So now I feel A LOT better about things.
We also decided to go month-to-month at our apartment for the month of April. Our lease expires on March 21 and we are currently looking into an opportunity to rent the house that one of my relatives who passed away had lived in. There are a few things going on with the house right now that involves my aunt and uncle (who are the owners of the house) going to court. They go back in a few weeks and hopefully we can get everything squared away. If we are able to move there, we will save probably $500 a month on rent. If we signed a new lease at our current place, we'd have to pay a fee of anywhere from $1200 - $2500 to break the lease. If we go month to month, we pay a higher monthly rate, but there is no fee if we decide to leave. So, if we are able to take the house after this next court date, we only had to pay the higher monthly fee for one month, and we can move out at the end of April. Of course, my mother is ALSO moving towards the end of April and we told her we'd help her...but she lives in North Carolina.... So it's actually a GOOD thing that Lumar and I are both unemployed right now..because we might need to pack up our own place in a huge rush.
So...I think that about covers it for now! Have a great weekend!
