UPDATE 3/28: "Up" Trailer and Clips

I just got back from Watchmen, and this trailer was in front of it. Rather...odd marketing, wouldn't you say?

The full-length trailer for the upcoming "Up" movie has been released, featuring loads of new footage and a look at the Kirk Douglas-looking villain named Charles Muntz (voiced by Christopher Plummer).

Plot: Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate gives him a new lease on life. "Up" takes audiences on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures.

The film is directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.) and co-directed by Bob Peterson. The voices are provided by Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, John Ratzenberger and Jordan Nagai. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 29th in Disney Digital 3-D.

UPDATE:
Back in January Sony and Pixar got together at their CES 2009 Keynote to show a clip from the upcoming "Up" film. Today, we have that clip in better quality (and slightly modified), showing Carl Fredricksen and Russell dragging a house through a South American jungle.
