"UP" Nominated for Best Picture!

I loved Up! So glad to see it get recognition as Best Picture. The movie really touched me.

Well, I'm absolutely thrilled about this because I always feel like animation doesn't get the recognition it deserves...even when they came out with the Best Animated Feature category I always felt like they were just going to use it as an excuse to not have to put a brilliant animated film in the same category as other "regular" nominated films again.

It's just too bad they didn't feel this was a good idea last year, as I really LOVE Wall-E and thought it was the most Oscar worthy of the Pixar films.

Up is a terrific movie and I'm glad to see it got nominated. It's not the best thing I've ever seen, but I'm pleased that it gets this major recognition.

I would LOVE it if UP won but I have a feeling Avatar will..

That being said, Avatar was good, IMO but still, not nearly as heartwarming as UP.
