Hi,

My annual passes are 6 months old, and they do not have waterparks on it. I know at the time with DVC discount it was $100.00 more for the waterpark options. We are going next week. Just wondering, I was thinking I may up grade and add the waterparks.

My question is, since my passes are 6 months old, will it still cost the $100.00
Or do you think that the cost will be pro-rated?

I am trying to figure out if it would be cost efficient to up grade, or just pay for the water parks.
We are going again in July, so we will either use the waterpark option, 2-3 times.

thanks
amy

I don't know if there are different rules for AP's or not, but most tickets are only eligible to upgrade within 14 days of first use.

So, I am not sure they will even let you upgrade these at this point.

You could also consider getting an AP for the waterparks instead.

thanks...

Not sure since it is not pro-rated it is worth up grading for like 3 times to the waterpark...I do know that includes Disney quest, but problaby won't go there.

I think just to go in the water park it is like $42.00 with DVC discount...so I may just go the way...

I should of just got the PAP when I got our passes..I usually do, but I got them in the winter and was a little short on cash...so I just got the AP, now I kicking myself for not just spending it then..oh well...;)
thanks again..
Amy

If you only go to the water parks 2 times you will be ahead of the game if you do go 3 times, you lose about 20.00 by not upgrading and the ability to hop over to a water park any other time on your trip.

Upgrading always has great benefits, like all the other discounts. Don't get to the water parks often, but it's great to be able to move around however the day goes. Good luck

Another benefit of the PAP to consider that that the Disney stores are giving a 20% discount for PAP holders, and only a 10% discount for AP holders. This could be signficant.

I never knew that...I thought the discounts were the same, but then I always had the PAP.

20% that is good to know..:woohoo:

thanks
amy
