Just thought about going there today. Is 5 1/2 too young?

Will I be able to book for November?

Thanks for any help!

I took my son to US when he was 5 for the first time and he loved it, weve gone back every year since. I think the only thing he might not be able to do is the mummy. In IOA there are several rides hed have to skip, but lots of things to do also. I think its the perfect age for a first trip. Are you staying on-site?

My 5 year old enjoyed the heck out of that place...the only rides he didnt get to ride on were Mummy, Hulk, and dueling Dragons. He went on Jaws, that scared him a little. He just put his head on my lap. The entrance to ET (in the woods) also scared him until he actually went on the ride, now its his favorite. Twister and Earthquake are loud...but I explained to him before we went that nothing was real and nobody was going to get hurt. It seemed to work ok. Now those rides are all he talks about.

We went when our girls were 4 & 6. As a previous poster stated, more IOA rides were too intense/big for them but there was a good amount to do at US. We went in February so a lot of the water rides soaked us pretty good and we were bit uncomfortable. We are goin back in October, the girls are older and looking forward to it. So are the parents for that matter ;)
