Unusual Scavenger hunt!

My father and I will be taking out 11th trip to WDW March 19th and 20th and were looking to come up with something different to do in the parks. We’ve heard about people eating around World Showcase or finding all of the pressed penny machines, but we wanted to do something that involved one of our favorite part of the parks-the popcorn carts.

Our goal is to find every popcorn cart in WDW and not only buy a popcorn from there but get our picture taken in front of the cart with the CM working it. We figure it will make for a fun scrapbook and a great time.

We were hoping that everyone here could be of come help. We are working on finding where they are all located, but does anyone know of some unusual locations (like outside of the 4 parks or ones hidden inside of buildings, attraction queue’s, etc) that we might miss.

We would love to hear what you all think and any other ideas you might have. This is my first post but I’ve been reading threads for a while and am looking forward to becoming more active. Thanks for all your help!

That sounds like so much fun! Disney people are creative people. I'm sorry that I can't help you with any locations, though. The only one I recall is at the MK on Main Street. Also, is there one at DD?

I wish I could help on the popcorn location, but I haven't a clue as to where they all are! I just wanted to say that I love your idea though! It sounds as if you are going to have a lot of fun!!!

Maybe make a funny popcorn hat or shirt that you could wear in all you pictures. Also you could get an autograph book or get their autograph on a piece of paper cut out like popcorn which would be good for scrapbooking. I am sure most of them have never given an autograph before.

Love the idea...I am a Main Street Popcorn girl myself (I actually bring one back to NJ each trip).

2 I know of in MK (the obvious) by the entrance/exit (city hall) and one in Frontier land on the parade route, just to the left of Country Bear Jamboree.

Epcot has one across from Canada along the lake.

i love this idea im a huge popcorn container collector i have so many its not even funny but i dont want to throwthem out

heres all the ones i can remember-

in mgm at the entrance to fantasmic (unless they moved it i havent been there in over a year)
i think also in the fantasmic amputheater as well is one
there is one in DTD near rainforest cafe
theres one in tommorrowland near the stage heading towards space mountain(i think someone said this one thought)
in animal kingdom in africa heading toward (sorry if i spell this wrong) Kilamanjaro Safari

Yay!! What a super idea! Only one I can think of right now is at MGM Studios, kinda in front of the Sorcerer Hat

That's a super, original idea!

Perhaps you might also get the popcorn vendor's (cast members) autograph on the popcorn container.

Thanks for all the great ideas! I think we are gonna have to get the autographs, and of course the shirts!!!

When we get back expect some fun pictures, as well as the locations to all of the popcorn carts (hopefully )

I thought I remembered one in Epcot over by the Test track--mission area. There was ice cream and I thought I remembered buying popcorn there once.
