Unusual 90 + 10 days question

Tomorrow I get to make my ADRs for my trip which starts May 25th. We are staying 3 nights onsite, then are taking a 3 night Disney cruise, and we are ending with a couple of nights at the Nick Hotel. While at the Nick Hotel, we want to go over to Epcot for dinner (we will have APs). All of the nights at the Nick Hotel fall within the 10 day period from May 25th.

So...will I be able to make a reservation for one of those dates (for example, June 2) even though we will not be staying onsite then?

I think the rule really is +10 consecutive days "of your trip" even though it's not usually stated like that here.

If you're trying to get the +10 part, they're going to ask for your reservation #. I assume they will then see that you're not actually staying 10 days and won't let you do that.

But who knows - CMs do all kinds of things that everyone thinks you can't do - so you might be able to do it.
