I called and verified that I have 2 days left on ticket's from 2000 as park hopper and 2 days from 2004, park hopper and 3 vists to the water parks. We are going in Dec for 10days and I would like to know the $ value left over. I CM was not able to tell me if it would be better to just use up the days and lose the value of the water parks or turn everything in on new tickets.

Anyone have an guess as to what the $ value would be so that I can try to figure out which way to go.

Thanks

I have a ticket from 1993 how did you find out if there were days left? Who did you call?
thanks

I'm not exactly sure what your asking.

You can't combine multiple tickets into 1 ticket.

How many days are you planning on going to the parks? are you planning on going to the waterparks or disney quest?

If you're planning on 10 days in the parks, you would probably be better off just buying a new 10 day ticket and saving the old ones for another, shorter trip.

Yes, who did you call? I've always been told you have to do it there, at WDW.

Not sure what you need to know. Are these tickets unused. If so, then you can add days to them (up to 10 total). But if you've used them at least once, you can't upgrade them. Use the days you have left and buy more if you need more days.

Call 407-566-4985 - Press option #2

This service is only available Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Sometimes they'll tell you, sometimes they won't.

Thanks, I don't remember how many days I have left on a few of ours.

I was given 2 options since these ticket had be started in 2000 and 2004.

1.I could just use the tickets as is for single day entry as a park hopper ticket for the number of days left. Then use the 3 waterpark days as is also.

2.I was told that I could go to Guest Relations and apply all the unused days to the price of a new multiday park hopper.

We do not plan of using the waterparks so I thought the best option would be to turn the tickets in a apply the value left onto a new 10day ticket. I'm guessing the remaining vaule would not be close to what a 1day ticket is currently. I have had a family member do this in 2000 but she does not remember how much was left on the ticket she turned in and what she paid for the new ticket.

So my main questions is what amount is a 1 day ticket from 2000 and a 1day ticket from 2004 and the 3 waterpark vists worth per person applied to a new ticket. Just trying to budget for what the new tickets will cost.

I was told thtat I could go to Guest Relations and apply all the unused days to a new multiday park hopper. We'll be there 10days so I was wondering how much money would be available from the old tickets to apply to the new 10day ticket.

You can't do that.

You could use them as they are, if they have a magnetic stripe on the back. If they don't, they can be replaced with new tickets with the same entitlements on them.

If you use them, you will still need to buy a 6 day ticket.

A 10 day ticket only costs about $12 more than a 6 day ticket, so I would just buy a 10 day ticket and save the old ones.

I've called twice and both times I was told that I could. As long as the value of the new purchase was greater then the value of the old ticket. Meaing no refund. The issue I have is with the water parks I don't plan on using them ever. Got talked into them by the last disney ticket peron since it was such a "great" value.

Unfortunately, the CMs you talk to on the phone are not always properly trained.

If the tickets were unused, you could use 1 of them toward the price of a new ticket, but not both of them. Multiple tickets cannot be combined into 1 ticket. Partially used tickets cannot be upgraded more than 14 days from the first use.

You may want to read Cheshire Figments ticket sticky, particularly post #8, for more info: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1452684

To the OP just so you know, chershire figment and his sticky is pretty much the last word on ticketing.

He is a CM and mainly works
at TL at a ticket booth and knows all the ins and outs of buying and upgrading tickets.

It seems that if you call the general info number they know the basics of selling the current tickets but not what can be done with old tickets.
