Unused Jet Blue credits

I have a $150 Jet Blue credit that is set to expire in April. Does Jet Blue ever extend that credit time or if I call will they give me a cash refund?

We have relocated and we do not have a Jet Blue airport near us now. One of our kids might be able to use it for our next family reunion but so far Jet Blue is not listing flights in November 2013. I do not know if the Nov. flights will come out before the credit expires and from what I understand we only have book the flight before the expiration date not actually fly.

Any one ever had any luck getting a refund?

They will probably not give you an extension of time to use the credit either, but maybe if you get an extremely nice rep, maybe they can do something... There is always the option of 1) booking the least expensive flight you can find, then canceling that so have you at least some credit left (but the credit may go back to the original date), or 2) using the credit towards someone else's flight. Hopefully they will release flights for the dates your family needs so you can use the credit with no issues.

JetBlue has one of the most generous credit policies, so their few rules are pretty minor.

No refunds. The best you could hope for is transferring the credits to someone before they expire so someone can make use of them. Wish I could give you better news!
