Unused Days on Ticket?

We have park hopper tickets left from a couple of years ago and I don't know how many days are left on them We are not staying at WDW this time so is there anyway that I can find out how many days are left on them before we get to the parks

Unfortunately not - the only way to check is at WDW itself.

If you are staying at WDW, you can go to any of the check-in desks and they should be able to check for you. The just scan the ticket and it gives them the entire history of use, days, hours, parks, etc. We had our tix demagnetized accidentally and we had to go through this process. If you think you have at least one day left you can use it at a park and then go to Member Services inside the park and get the number of days left from there.

Go to any guest relations at any park or go to the one at Disney marketplace the night before you plan to go to parks.
