Nope its a local competition here in Phoenix. Yes the whole family will be going and yes I will be getting an AP at the end of the month. the rest of the crew will get the magic music days tickets. Its like $90 for a 3 day hopper! cant beat that.

I know which one you saw!! That is what got the bug in me to go during Christmas. Every year we would watch it, and every year I would tell Dave some day........

Well the days were Christmas of 2005.

I was trying to download a CD for pictures from Walmart. So they are downloaded, but I have no idea what they are until I pick just the image number. So I just clicked on this...........and look what came up.

The Gingerbread House from the Grand Floridian. So i thought, I'd share that with you.

Melody, do they still have the Poinsettia tree in the lobby? :love: I used to stare at that thing for hours.
 
Hmmm... I got a leftover steak I could cut up... Put it over rice? And what else? I think I got some bouillon cubes... Anybody? :confused3

Put in it a tortilla with the rice and add some beans, and what ever veges you have. Grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes.

Ummm... Yessssss...? But not sure what kind. Oh, I know I have frozen broccoli, and I have a mixed veggie bag or two. And tons of fresh baby carrots. How do I flavor it?

I don't remember that at the moment. I was too enthralled to see the House. And of course the HUGE tree in the lobby too!!!
 
Ah Melody I just found pictures of the ginger bread houses at the GF in 1993! I'm scanning them in now. It will be fun to compare!

saute some peppers and onions, have some rice and beans with it if it's not quite enough to go round.

Make it into hash? Do you have leftover potatoes?

Or maybe a beef version of Mexican/Spanish rice ( tomato based rice and steak pieces and bit of green pepper and that kinda thing)

My mom made Spanish rice to make a tiny bit of ground beef and bacon stretch for a family of 6 :goodvibes
 
Ok I'm back. Yikes I just wrote the check for summer intensive. that is not fun. :scared1: 5 weeks until her first competition. She's so excited. They are cleaning up the dances now.

Did I tell you guys it will be June 13 or 14 for disneyland?
So she is performing at DL??

Salt, pepper, garlic.. and soy sauce. If you use soy sauce, skip the salt.. Obviously!:lmao: Just chuck it all in a pan. I use normady veggies for every thing.. I buy a big bag at Costco.

I am scanning a picture of it in now. the huge tree when I worked there from 1993-2000 was all made of poinsettias. it almost reached the ceiling. It was so pretty
