I have heard about it since I was little... On Unsolved Mysteries and such. Dh and I talked about hitting it on our last trip, but we didnt lake it out that way.

Only the backstage tour is for 10 and up. The standard Mansion tour is okay.

Groovy yo. I like City Walk, we had a really nice afternoon walking around there... adn letting Grandma buy Alex a $40. pair of shoes. but I have to say... they have held up REALLY well. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

That's true. I've seen some places close down there.

Okay.. THANK YOU!! Not gonna happen in this lifetime. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I almost keeled over dead on the Wheel of death at DCA... In a REGULAR NON SWINGING car. Really... Head between my legs, panting.. The whole bit.

Aww!! Bummer! Ill ride it with you when we go next month! I cant believe I am going to go on rides without the kids... Mikalah was begging to go on Screamin when we were there at Christmas... She is usually so afraid of eveything, but really got into it on this last trip. I want abear like that! To bad I am s challenged at that stuff.

OMG! Chinatown! Girardelli Square! The Golden Gate Bridge, and Golden State Park. There used to be a cute (free)n little playground called Fairyland on the shore of Lake Merrit, I think it was called. The part I remember was themed based on Alice in Wonderland, with a rabbit hole to crawl through, a maze of Hearts playing card "guards"... I read somewhere that it got really run down and is no longer there. Too bad.

We are only going to be there for a day and a half, and staying in the Fishermans Wharf area.. So we are going to do a lot of sightseeing in that area. I think our hotel is just a few blocks away from Ghiradelli Square, (of course I wouldnt miss that! Dh is excited to ride a cable car.. He got all giddy when I mentioned it. We have driven over the bridge, and will do it again on this trip.. But ithink thats as far as I will go on that, I tend to PANIC on stuff like that!
I have been looking at what they have in the Wharf area, and I think it will be fun!!

Ill do it! I have never riden it before... But Im game for it. ONCE.
