One of my co-workers is missing a lot of work lately. Not sure what's going on. She came into work crying and her mascara was running but I didn't ask her anything. She went to Vegas this past weekend and called in sick today. :confused3

Morning Hyenas!

Not much exciting planned for today. Need to pay some bills and clean a little. Maybe throw in a few loads of laundry and do some ironing. Yep, nothing new......

I have a cabbage patch doll. Yes. HAVE. Actually, it is now Mikalahs baby. Naked and dirty.... But I still love him. ;)

At my mom's house in my old room my stuffed toy hammock is still hanging in the corner with all of my old stuffed animals. Both my Cabbage Patch dolls are there. I can't remeber the boy's name but the girl was Hope Faye.

I got my DNiece1 a Cabbage Patch doll for Christmas. It was dressed like a Christmas tree, so cute! It's name was Alyssa, just like my DNiece! I spend so long in WalMart looking through all the dolls for one with her name and I finally found one! :rotfl:

Check out mini me!

I knew you guys would think this was funny! :cool2:

My sister just e-mailed me this article. The girl is our cousin. I didn't really know her too well, she is actually my mom's cousin's daughter (my 2nd cousin?).

Authorities on Sunday identified a 22-year-old Torrance woman who was struck and killed by a van that was backing up in Redondo Beach, a coroner's spokesman said.

Melissa Burkhalter was pronounced dead Saturday at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, said coroner's Lt. Joe Bale.

Burkhalter, who worked for a catering company, was in the loading dock of the AES power plant when she was struck by a van delivering speakers at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, said Sgt. Phil Keenan of the Redondo Beach Police Department.

Burkhalter had been preparing food for a large party for the Hawthorne-based Richstone Family Center, a nonprofit child abuse outreach. About 20 people had been in the area at the time of the accident.

The event was canceled.

The driver, a 62-year-old woman from Ojai, was not charged, but the accident remained under investigation, Keenan said.

"Apparently she hit the accelerator instead of the brake," Keenan said Saturday

I think the lady should have her license taken away for a while or something. I know it was an accident but still.

How do you not know which pedal is which? I think the woman should at least have her license taken away for a while or something.

Me too - I had to set up a bunch of new payees today (since we moved all of our utilities are different). I couldn't live without it. I am not sure which I would part with first, online bill pay or my TiVo :confused3
