okay... I am going to hit the hay too.. I am sooo not tired, but dh wont be home til 11.... So that means I have to feed the beasts in the morning!:lmao: :lmao:

I can do a mexican beer with lime, but that is the only kind I like. But I would rather have a ST!:lmao:

:lmao: I cannot do beer of any kind - long story - and a bad experience with Miller Light and Tangueray as a teenager   ...sadly - Pixster called it right - and the only thing I can really handle at this point is tequila :faint:

:lmao: The 1st cruise I went on I bought a soda card - but then I found out how yummy the mixed drinks were - and never got one again!!! :rolleyes1 (I know - I am bad - but alone on a boat with no kids :rolleyes1 )

Oh yeah!! Thats what I am talking about!:lmao: :lmao: I hope my mom offers to watch the kids for a bit while we are at DL... I would love to hit that parks for a bit with dh... and actually GO on rides together!:lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: My co-workers bought some expensive drinks on the cruise. The workers on the ship kept walking around with trays of "pretty" alcohol drinks to persuade guests to buy them. Two or three of my co-workers bought one that cost more than $10. It's a monkey shaped like a coconut. They said it was too strong and one of them ended up dumping half of it out. She said it's a piggie bank so she washed it and gave it to her DS.

 :scared: I like Margaritas...:woohoo: :woohoo: I can remember the first time I had a Cadillac Marg.... The waiter seem to think it was SOOOO funny to see how fast he could get me drunk!!

Exactly!!! Hopefully she will :goodvibes

I'm gonna go to bed too. I'm a bit sleepy and tired from being out all day. :faint: Goodnight hyenas!! :grouphug:

GOOD MORNING HYENA'S!!!

Sadly, the sun is out - the clouds are gone - and we got no snow :sad1: . We just missed it to - Lakeside got snow, but no snow in Show Low (while we are a small town, there are really a cluster of small towns together - and we adjoin Lakeside) Now that you have all had your geography lesson on the White Mountains  I will check back later and avoid another self interview :thumbsup2

Good morning, hyenas!
Snow is on the ground, but the streets are slushy and the snow is melting fast.

The boys are itching to get out in it, but mean ol' DH is making DS7 clean his room. Then we're gonna go to Target to hopefully pick up a few things that are in their ad.

My goal for today was to take the boys someplace scenic (either outdoors with snow, or indoors with Christmas decorations) to take photos for a Christmas card. Not sure if that's going to happen, we'll have to see how the mood is today. (So far it is not good for DS7.)

Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday ~ Have a great day!

Hola chicarinas and 2 rinos:rotfl:

Hope everyone is well on this fine morning/afternoon....It is currently a very sunny but windy 54º outside...I have been so busy since before Thanksgiving I have barely gotten online at all let alone on the boards...I had overnight guests last night...my gd Lexie 6 who I see very little of anymore:sad1: shes in school full time, I work and she goes to her dad's on the weekend so I mostly see her at family gatherings...Ive been wanting to have a sleepover for awhile with her and she called me yesterday asking if she could come...and of course her cousin Ileah 4, who is bb tristans sister, informed me that she was coming too!! had to sleep over as well:laughing: ...so last night we had 2 very happy giggly little girls...gave them kids' favorite cuisine...ALA HAPPY MEALS!!!:rotfl: and got cookies and popcorn...after dinner we took a drive and looked at the christmas lights around town...bb's grandparents house is over the top decorated and they have it set up where you turn the radio on to a specific station and the lights pulsate to the music...its crazy awesome:goodvibes...then the girls came home and got into their pj's and got to eat popcorn and cookies in bed all whilst watching The Little Mermaid:cloud9: ...only gave them one cookie each...wasnt having girls bouncing off the walls...they are both very limited in the amount of sugar they get to eat and Ileah only can drink milk, juice or water...no soda ever!!!!...they were up fairly early this am but were very good and watched tv to let me and tiff sleep for a bit...but alas that came to an end and we got up and made them eggs and toast...let them play for a bit and tiff is out now taking them home...if only I could take a nap:rolleyes: Im in the process of doing :laundy: and have to go do a little grocery shopping after I take a shower but since I had a few minutes of peace I thought I would come on and say hi to everyone...but as we know all good things must come to an end and I must go take a shower and get on with my day...have a good one and hopefully I am able to come on when you guys are on here later today...take care...:grouphug: :grouphug:

Ok Recital is over with. It actually looked better than I had expected. Morgan did great. There was a mouse in our dressing room though and it kept freaking out the girls and the moms. Nothing could be done to catch and as the show must go on we just tried to ignore it. Hard to do when it darted back and forth along the walls all day. I tried to convince the girls to name it Mickey Mouse but they wouldnt have it. Minnie wouldnt do either. :sad2:

Cheer competition is over with too. Morgan was on a different squad this time since her normal one competed yesterday and with the recital we could not make it. The squad today got 3rd place but her normal team got 2nd which means they go to the State Competition in Jan. Her coach gave her the 2nd place ribbon as well since she was a part of that team all year except just this weekend. Her coach is great!

Next weekend we have a sleepover at the new studio and a parade to do for the new dance studio. That should be fun as well.

Jake will be signed up for basketball on Monday! :yay: He's such a trooper with all this girl stuff. i cant wait for him to get his chance.

I'll try to catch up later. I have to get rid of these Christmas boxes out in the family room. Need to actually work at putting up the decorations. I'm just not in the mood like I normally am this year. Our house does not look like the Griswolds yet and I may skip some things.:scared1: Unheard of at my house. What will the neighbors think??? :rotfl:

Ok I only had time to take a picture of 3 of her 11 costumes. We had to provide the stuff for them except the ballet of course. And that was just one of her ballet costumes. You can see some more of them on our rack behind her along with all her stuff spread out in our little corner in the room. Quick changes make for some messy areas...:rotfl:

What's Up Hyenas?

I posted more pics on my trip report this morning. I'll try to finish my trip report. I'm gonna post more pics now. :goodvibes

ah man once again I am here and no one else is:sad2: I am waiting on my dinner to finish...I was in the mood for italian but didnt want pasta...so I decided to make meatball subs...very easy...just used 1 lb lean ground beef and chopped up some onion finely along with a couple cloves of garlic minced as well...added worsteshire sauce, 1 egg as a binder, bread crumbs, pepper, parmesian cheese and some red pepper flakes (not enough to make it spicy but it gives it some kick)..makes 12 really nice big balls or you could get 24 smaller ones...put them on a baking sheet and cooking in 450º oven...then in a skillet I put some evoo and diced onion and garlic to let it sweat not fry or burn...then added some more red pepper flakes, oregano, and parsley and let cook for a little while then added 1 reg size can of crushed tomatoes...stirred and salted to taste...added some more parmesian cheese and simmered on low...now that the meatballs are done I will add them to the sauce, and put them on sub rolls and top with mozzarella slices and place under broiler until melted...serving with french fries and wa lah...dinner is soived;) ok now im starving...gotta go finish so I can eat...:lmao: see you all later...

oh btw...Shawna...love the pics;)
