How are things going with you? Recuped from your DL trip yet? It always takes me a couple of weeks to get back in the swing of things, back into a schedule, caught up with laundry!!!!!!
We're back to normal, or whatever normal for us is. ;)

DS7 is just wrapping up soccer, and about to begin basketball; he's become quite a good soccer player, and really enjoyed this season. It's very exciting to watch him play.

DS3 just started a gymnastics class. He acts up a bit in class; first I thought it probably was because the teacher, kids and equipment was all new to him, too exciting! But at the 2nd class he still was a little less 'controlled' than he typically is, so I'm hoping he'll calm down soon and just really get into learning new techniques!

I'm still working on a scrapbook of our 2006 Disney vacation ( ), and still need to burn all the photos from this fall's trip onto CD. Now I'm thinking I want to switch gears and create an ABC album for DS3 for Christmas...

I'm sitting here crying. The last part of Bridges of Madison County always gets to me. It's my favorite movie - followed closely by On Golden Pond.

I watched Martian Child earlier and got teary-eyed at least 2 times. :sad1:

I wouldn't worry too much about him acting up. He's only 3, so he probably has about a 3 second attention span. It's good that you are getting them involved in activities now. Hopefully they can find something they are passionate about before they are teenagers. It really does keep them out of trouble.

I wish I could get into organizing our photos. I just seem to shove them into boxes!!

Does my new sig look weird? I didn't know what to write.

I like it, but I have one slight problem! It's not even Thanksgiving yet!!!! Let me eat my turkey and stuffing before I have to start thinking about Christmas.:lmao:

Burning off some energy certainly seems to help keep things down to a dull roar at home, anyway. And they really do seem to have a good time. ;)

The soccer thing for DS3 wasn't such a good idea. I thought he'd love it (because he always wants to be out on the floor when DS7 is playing), but he just doesn't get the idea of there being a goal, rules of the game, or the concept of a team. :rotfl:

But he's really good at several gymnastics skills, so I thought I'd like to continue to develop that. Two teachers at the new place (actually a place specializing in gymnastics) have commented on his advanced abilities, so as long as he's enjoying himself, I'm happy to take him. :goodvibes

Do you know I've never seen that movie? Or read the book, though I heard both were good.

I loved On Golden Pond, too. Henry Fonda's character reminded me so much of my dad, so I cried a lot in there, too.

I cried buckets when I watched the Notebook and A Walk To Remember.

:rotfl2: Don't you like FAST food? :teeth:

It reminded me of when I was a kid and my mom used to slaughter chickens! Whenever they quit laying eggs it was time to cook them! :lmao: I can remember seeing them run around the yard with no heads! I was stuck somewhere between shock and amazement.

I haven't read the book, but I've seen the movie several times. It's a long movie, over 3 hours. But really good! It's a chick flick.

Ladies, I need to get the dishes done and fold a couple of loads of laundry before I go to bed. Have a good night! If I get done and I'm not too tired I'll pop back on in a bit.
