You're quite welcome! Did I tell you about DD opening up the exploding 2 liter soda pop bottle while all of her friends were here decorating their clothes for homecoming week? The entire kitchen was covered with soda pop. So guess what I did? Yep, just like the commercial I ran into the kitchen and grabbed the sprayer on the sink and started soaking her! Ahhhh...it was so much fun!!

Awesome!! Was she totally mortified?

I have patience to make jam, but it could be because I have blackberries growing everywhere around here and they are free!

Ooooo, blackberry jam! If you make some, I'll buy it from you!

I bought some yummy looking jam at an auction for DS's school last spring, and it (to my amazement!) tasted very bland. How can blackberries taste bland???

No, but the look on everyone's face when the soda was spewing all over was great! Then when they realized I wasn't mad they all started laughing.

The secret to good jam - LOTS of sugar! As a matter of fact there is usually more sugar in the jam than fruit. If you try to cut back on the sugar it usually ends up tasting bland. The first time I made raspberry jam with my MIL I thought the recipe had to be wrong. It was something like 6 cups of raspberries and 12 cups of sugar!

I picked up some professional photos of the boys that I had taken before our DL trip. My gosh, I was not prepared for how old the boys look in the photos! DS3 looks at least 4yo in most, even older in a few solo poses. And DS7 looks like a man-child in some, so handsome and that same restrained smile that DH has.

Ok I guess the majority rules...I will only stay 2 nights...however...no worries spongie...we will still meet up...I guess what I will do is come into the park friday after checking out and stay there until maybe 8 or so...by then maybe it wont be so bad going home and I will get home before 2 am...





ok crazy lady no it wont scrap me for the month its not that...its just that I wont have the money to renew my AP before the expiration date but If I cut off that extra day then all I have to worry about is coming up with is $110 by the end of Nov. which I can do but if I had to come up with all $239 I wouldnt be able to until like Jan...which also means missing out on the christmas visit and truthfully I am not bothered by driving home late at night at all...yes you remembered right about getting side swiped but that was going from DL to Moreno Valley and the fool came barreling into me..besides it was early afternoon when that happened...and you know our drive is pretty much a straight shot and once past the grapevine its country peeeeeeeeeeeeyuuuu...


and Albort I know what your saying kiddo and I hear ya its just I really wanted to see pix...next time I go down to see my aunt which will be christmastime I will see Bernice so no worries there...but I guess I will listen to all of you and just go wed-fri eve.....thanks guys

Well if you had told me the Christmas saga, I would have definately told you to come home early. You can't miss DL at Christmas time.

The professional ones are prints, not digital. I sooo wish they'd sell CDs instead of prints. Speaking of which, I was looking at my photopass CD today. Some of the photos aren't good because somebody or other isn't smiling. There are 3 that I had taken with Pix and DS7, and in every one he looks like he's being tortured, WTH??? Then in a few from the MHT, I think it was, DH has a look, a grimace, really.

Fortunately they look calm and relaxed and smiling in most of the photos, but SHEESH! I'd have been ticked to pay all that money for a CD and have crappy photos because they snarled through all the shots.
