Screamin is not even remotely like the Zipper.. it's way cooler:thumbsup2

You go upside down only the once thru the Mickey Head.. and it's over very quickly. The type of propulsion and brakes used makes it a very smoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooth ride. I made the mistake of cliciking the restraint down too much, so it kinda hurt when we braked hard at the end of the ride. Tiny bit of space between you and the restraint is ideal.. I like the bunny hops near the end.. lots of "air"
If by 'air' you mean it makes farting noises, I'm sure it will be DS7's new favorite ride.

I was thinking (with drugs) I'd be able to go on that. Oooo, gotta get more drugs for this trip! I took them almost every day of our trip last year and it worked out well. Actually, I didn't take them like the first 3 days, because I was already feeling nauseous, either from a sinus infection or some bug. So I just watched and took pictures while DH took the kids on rides. After I was feeling better it was, "Stand back! Mama's ready!!!" :rotfl:

G!!!

Glad hubby's feeling better. Hopefully he's not like my DH. Every time he shows up at work with some injury, he'll say "My wife hit me." Fortunately almost everyone there knows me, so he and they think the idea of that is hilarious. :sad2:

In fact, there's this one guy that thinks DH is just like his oldest brother, a real hard-nosed taskmaster. Well, probably because DH is like that at work, but not at home, he's usually very laid back. Anyway, this guy was always asking me if DH was really strict with the kids (Ha! Lax, perhaps? I'm the disciplinarian in this house!) or had to have everything just so (Wow. Trust me, our house is never 'just so' unless by that you mean 'just sooo messy!' )
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well, he doesn't really know anyone at work yet. :rolleyes1
Sounds like something my hubby would say too:laughing:

I think it's cool that they ask even the men, "do you feel threatened in your home" in the emergency room. Hubby thought it was hilarious and wanted to say "yeah she beats me up all the time" :sad2: :sad2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Silly silly!
noooooo, your butt is flying off the seat.

Ice Princess is on Disney Channel, I like that movie.

That just started within the last 10 years or so, right? I remember when I was pregnant with DS7 and seeing flyers in the OB office, and the ones with tabs of phone numbers you could pull off and call for help. And some were pulled off! :scared1:

It was very sad that, what should be the happiest time of your life, perhaps wasn't joyful at all, and was dangerous, you know?

I don't know if DH has been asked stuff like that. I'd hope he'd have the sense not to kid around about it there though. Kinda like you don't make jokes at the airport these days.

Ohhhh, being airborne. He'd love that, too. :goodvibes

Which reminds me; I'll have to figure out how to land gracefully in the DLH pool off the slide this time...

hey guys!! Its okay Alex!! I was terrified to ride Screamin the first time, Dh MADE me do it!! But its really not that bad!:thumbsup2 You should do it Friday night, I went on it then, and there were NO lines! (During MHT) You guys can all go on it, and I will watch the babys!:rolleyes1 :lmao:

So... I went to Alex's school today, and talked to them. They called transportation, and they are going to check out the video to see what happened. They also brought in the Vice Principal,a dn told her what happened, and she got kinda pissed that the teacher and bus driver arent making him sit in the front of the bus.. thats where the kindergarteners are supposed to sit! But they were really nice, and told me to be sure to let them know if anything happened again, and they would handle everything on their end!:thumbsup2

Hey, Moto! Sounds like you had a nice weekend. How's your Monday?

Busy! Just because I don't work weekends doesn't mean the whole newspaper stops what it's doing. :rotfl2: Monday is always a catch up day for me. 3 days worth of work to do. But other than that it's been a good day.

I made my mom go on this with me and she hated it! She wouldn't go on TOT with me after that. I had to go by myself! I don't think it's bad at all. But then again I love all the rides at Magic Mountain too!

yeah, it's sad.. statistically more women are abused during pregnancy than other times in their life.
:sad1:

they ask dh that when he goes to the hospital... He snickers about it to!:lmao: When they asked me, I just looked at the lady with a totally shocked expression... NO!!! My dh is a kitten!:lmao:

Why are they gonna watch the video? Alex said he could ID the kid. (Did he?) And what about the bus driver closing the door in your face when you approached? That would tick me off, too!

I'm so glad that they are working with you on the bus issue.. yeah!!!:yay:

Kids should feel safe at school, even on the bus!

He couldnt remember which kid it was. They said they would talk to the bus driver and see what was up with him..:sad2: The VP said she would talk to Alex, and see if she can get anymore info from him.... Maybe he will be more open with her.

I didn't notice until now.. the blonde girl in Ice Princess is the same actress on Heroes (the cheerleader).

Speaking of Heroes: Can't wait to see the next episode :yay: :yay: :yay:

And Thursday , Grey's Anatomy new season premiere!! :woohoo:

Oh, poor kid. I'm surprised he can't remember what the kid looks like, but maybe he was just so shocked at the time. I hope the little thug that did it gets found out, though, there's no excuse for that.

And the bus driver should be on his toes now, too. First a kid (kindergartener, no less) gets punched on the bus and he doesn't see it? Doesn't notice the little guy crying as he gets off the bus? Doesn't notice his mom go barreling up to the door of the bus? And turns out Alex should have been sitting up front anyway? Come on...) Umm... Can you tell we had a crappy bus driver when I was a kid? It's a bit of a sore spot with me! :rolleyes1

At least the office folks took it seriously, and I do hope they follow through.

Hey, where's Tinkermell? Thought she was gonna post some DL photos??? :cool1:

oh... and we got a call from Dh's friend Billy today... The one that I went down to help for his wifes surgery.... Heather is PG.:sad2: She just had gastric bypass 6 months ago! That cant be healthy for the baby! They told them to wait at LEAST 2 years before even trying. Billy was all freaked out to have kids with her, because her other kids have EXTREME emotional problems. They all have Bi-polar issues. the youngest one is pretty severe, he was suicidal at 4. :sad2: Not to mention she has 2 kids that she doesnt even have custody of! PLUS... she is in her 2nd to last year of Law School.... It really doesnt make sense to me! But whatever... Its not us, huh? Shes just the type of person I can see dropping out of school, and saddling them with her $250,000. in school loans. :sad2: Grrr.... Oh well... But if Billy comes complaining to me ONE MORE TIME about how unhappy he is.:headache:

Yeah.... I have a feeling he is going to get a bit of a butt chewing about it. I told the VP the WHOLE story, about the bus driver and all... She was NOT impressed!
