Hi Alex! i was just wondering where you were. Hows things? Everyone feeling batter at ur house?

Pretty much back to normal.

Took DS7 to school this morning, and when he went into his classroom, DS3 started to whine, "I want my [DS7]!" It was sooo cute! I wiped his tears and told him that after his nap today we'd go to school and get him (just like we always do ) and he sniffed, "Okay."

How are you guys doing? You said (yesterday or today?) that Mikalah caught Alex's cold?

Pretty much back to normal.

Yup... they are both all snivelly and whiney. Just like normal, only a bit more snot! Mikalah does that when Alex leaves too... It makes me sooo happy that they are so close! I talked to my sis and now i am SOO excited to see her again!

I don't think dizzy's planning to do MHT... Is she? The only one I know for sure is going is Staley's family and mine. G, are you going, too?

No, i dont think she is planning on it. She said they arent getting til late that night.

I got the idea from the way she was talking that her DH wasn't too sure about the hyenas at the first meet. So she thought she'd try to get together with us on Sat. while he's at the bird show, then they'll be in the park together on Sunday.

ETA: I also meant to add that DH is not too sure about you all, either.

Looking at finances.. can't swing the money right now for tickets, it's a maybe. If it isn't sold out on October 1st we might buy tickets.

Fun, yes.. pricey.. ugh yes! Can't decide if its "worth it".

Oy... that was bad! Noisy, stressful, did I mention NOISY??? Alex crying because he was overtired...Mikalah crying because of Mickey... me crying because i was tired...

It's funny, when I first joined the DIS and people were talking about getting together at DL, I was thinking that sounded so nuts! If I go to DL, I definitely want to spend time with my family, because we hardly ever get to go on vacation.

It would be very weird to me if people wanted to get together A LOT, but I'm really looking forward to meeting people, just getting a chance to say hello in person and meet all the kids.

Its cool if I go without dh. Then i would LOVE to hang with another mom and kids for the whole trip. Plus it would be nice to have an extra set of hands. But as a whole family we have a system.. Its hard to break it.
