I was doing a little research on Maui this evening, in anticipation of our trip next fall. We've always stayed at the same hotel in the past, but wondering about a condo with the kids... So unfamiliar facilities, locations, expected costs. We need a DIS for Maui!

I think a condo is a great Idea! We have talked about going to Hawaii before, and renting a house on the beach.. What could be better? Plus not having to eat out for every meal.. We all tend to get sick when we do that to much. (I bet more than one of us gets tummy troubles at DL) When we went to leavenworth, adn had a condo.. It was SOO nice!! We got to lay the kids down in their room, and go back to ours which had a big ole jacuzzi tub, and fireplace... Very romantic!! Much more so then having the kids laying in the next bed!

I love that one, too, but I think I've only seen it once.

If you like to read, give it a chance. Even though it was 1000 pages long, I could have kept on reading it. It's so much better than even the movie.

okay this might sound wierd to you guys but i just got a call from Disneyland they had to change one of our adr's time .(not a biggeee) but now i am so freakin excited to go .. does that seem wierd i am 32 yrs old with 5 kids and i swear i am gonna be the one freaking out when i walk through the gates..... is this usually how you should feel? (this being my 1st time and the kiddos)

Ohhhh, yeahhhhh! We took our first trip last fall (DH had been a couple times as a child), and I was way more excited than anyone else. Of course once we got there and the kids realized what kind of place it was, they had a blast!

Saw the movie first, then read the book. I think I was too young to really "get" the movie, it made so much more sense as I was older and read the book.

Hi all! Well I survived the birthday party and sleepover!!! No fights at all, all the girls had fun! Imagine that, they all said it was the best party they had been to all year and I didn't even have to spend $300 at Pump It Up!

We made charm bracelets last night after we got home from the party, then they changed and laid out sleeping bags and watched the new Princess Tales movie Lauren got, then we did the make your own pizzas but for breakfast this morning!!! They thought it was great, how often do you get pizza for breakfast? Then they all just played until about 1 o'clock!!

So here I am and then I emailed DH(?) to see if he was planning on seeing his daughter tomorrow for her birthday. I get an email back that he's out of town (***?) and that he'll call tomorrow when his plane lands. Really nice, here I am with three kids and he gives me no money, yet he manages to afford a flight and to get out of town (with God knows who). It's maddening, I just totally want to not care at all anymore, but I get so darn angry!

Whatever. So we'll see what happens. Lauren keeps asking me, is Daddy gonna call for my birthday, will I see Daddy on my birthday? etc.. and it's killing me that I can't give her an answer!!!

How fun! I am so bummed, my mom was giving us her timeshare in Hawaii for our 10th anniversary this year!!! Now that's gone too, sometimes I think I should just find a friend and still go!!!!

But my dream has always been to stay at the Grand Wailea with the connecting pools with slides and the world's only in water elevator. They have a pool rope swing, all kinds of fun stuff for the kids!!! It's a BIG dream, but one day I'll get there! The place is to die for gorgeous too!!

On the good side, I found out about a great job opening with a construction company here (doing billing!) so she called and asked me to send my resume on Friday so I should hear something tomorrow!! No wonder I hate to work, this looking for a job business is for the birds!!! It sucks, there's really no other word for it!

Thanks!! I got all the paperwork for the wage garnishment so now all I have to do is have it certified mail sent to HR at his work and then they have 15 days to implement!!! Let's hope it works!

Sorry your DH isn't doing his part, though. I never did understand the logic they use to justify it to themselves. I hope he comes through for your DD's birthday.
