No kidding!!! I would never expect (or demand) special treatment like that!!!
Me either. It's funny how a few bad experiences can ruin for everyone though.
There is a fish and chips place across the street, and they're always kinda rude to us but we never thought much of it, anyway one day dh went over by himself to pick us some fish and he asked for fries and started laughing and said I mean chips. The owner laughed back, they made small chat and the owner asked where we were from. Dh said Canada, the owner said "Oh good! I thought you were from the U.S., I hate americans!"
When dh came and told me that I was horrified. It's maybe a good thing I wasn't there because I would have told hima thing or two about stereotyping. I think it's totally unfair to treat people poorly without even knowing them based on a stereo type.
